Fellas, the SW whining may not be total but it is always plural.

Amen! SW collectors are some of the cheapest, whiniest babies in toy collecting and I speak from experience :lol

I think a lot of it has to do with the vastness of crap that's out there. We all want lots of cool stuff, but hate rummaging through the trash to get it. If GL didn't slap a SW logo on just about everything out there I don't think this would be an issue. Simply put, we want quality over quantity and will tear anyone apart who doesn't deliver (poor Hasbro takes so much heat).

Is it just me, it seems Ki-Adi's head no longer appear over-sized in the Backstage Pass video.

isn't his head supposed to be big?

Yeah looks pretty normal, but he's pretty bare bones in terms of accessories. On a side note, that Backstage Pass was pretty boring. I'm always expecting Scott to be on his A-game (humming the Jurassic Park theme was hilarious) and when it's just a regular video I'm kinda disappointed.

You know it's bad when the highlight of a figure in the Backstage Pass is the saber clip.:lol
I still am glad to finally be getting Ki in 1:6 form. He's one of my favorite looking Jedis.

A 12" Jedi figure with real fabric clothing and actual thread, and features a head made of genuine plastic that we have gone the extra mile to paint.

I agree. Especially with the increase in price, I felt the least SSC could do is to throw in more hands. A special display base would be nice too. Saying this, I do think SSC did a great job with Ki. I have ordered mine.

Yea this Backstage Pass video was pretty painful to watch. When he tried to sell the saber clip as an "oooh ahh" feature I just kinda laughed to myself.

yeah, this really puzzles me. Indy is $90 and comes with the new pro body and tons of accesories. (an extra head for crying out loud!) and Ki is $70 and comes with the buck and his lid and unlid lightsaber. (I suppose Ki's head can be counted as 2 heads in one) but does $20 extra really makes that much difference in terms of what you get or is SSC eating some of the cost on indy by listing him at $90?

I felt making Ki a Sideshow Exclusive isn't good enough a reason to price him at $70. I have to add that its a bit annoying that, since there is only one gripping hand, we can forget about posing him with both hands on the light Saber.

And that is why I love buying extra hands. :lol No worries from my end about needing more hands.

Not having extra hands is what disappoints me the most about this figure, to me those extra hands were like the hallmark of the Jedi line.

Nope. Ki Adi Mundi was a humanoid Jedi with normal human hands, extras from pretty much any figure will do.

Are you sure about this. Looking at the images it seems he is having Kit Fisto's hands, but only not in green.

I remember in an interview with Kit Fisto's sculptor posted on Rebelscum.com, he mentioned that he missed out on sculpting a left gripping hand. I bet SSC is using the same mould, thats why we are short of a hand now. Hah hah.
