When I read the comics I thought he had deliberately gone out of his way to make a comic that couldn't be made into a film. To finally see the trailer for this last night, I was pleasantly surprised.

Looks like they've beefed up Hit Girls part in this as well, which is a bonus.

I was really worried about this.
Still, they could have just shown the parts where she is in the movie, and maybe what we saw in the trailer are the only parts she appears as Hit Girl. Trailers do that all the time. They will show you the best parts or the parts a certain character appears but it then it ends up being not that long in the movie.

But yea the novelty has definately worn off.

What I find funny is that now that the "novelty" has worn off, many people are all "meh" now that Chloe has grown up.

To me that screams "creepy" or worse.

I am not too worried about Hit Girl not being in it enough. She was the most talked about character in the first film no way are they going to leave her out as much as they did in the book. Atleast that is what I am hoping I totally forgot Jim Carrey was going to be in this until I saw the trailer.

The first half hour of KA2 is based on the Hit-Girl miniseries between KA1 and 2, she will feature plenty.

I hope it's not as gruesome as the comic. The first film had just the right balance. It was violent, but it had a certain charm to it, and, in turn, it seemed like a different animal from its comic counterpart. From what I've read, it seems like the sequel (the book) is just gratuitously brutal.
