Does kinda look like a PAK figure with a cloth gi. Funny thing is this is around $120 at Angolz, & the Solidus PAK figure came out around the same price I think. Also the pre order for the new GZ Snake PAK is around $100. So you could say this is priced like a PAK figure

@$120 that's a good deal. He was at $180 approx on BBTS and around $150 on Amiami . In comparison the PAK was $70 ish .

Amiami has competitive prices for PAK's, but not so much with this figure it seems.

I'm not won over by this yet...had him on preorder then cancelled, besides having a real cloth Gi doesn't he look too similar to the PAK figure ?

Not even remotely lose! The PAK figure sucks. I thought it was gonna be the end all be all when it came out, but boy was I wrong. Just about every Akuma figure misses the mark in some way. Sota's first releases were alright. Their exclusive was kinda cool, but too cartoony. The jazwares version was kinda suck, and Neca's version fell pretty short with the jacked hair sculpt. The PAK version is pretty much the worse one for me due to his wonky sculpts, donut hole shoulders, and his body that constantly falls apart and it does so with only gravity! Seriously if I pick him up, his leg falls right off.
The sad thing is, the best akuma figure to ever grace us was the Resaurus version. This figure to me pretty much is one of the most perfect ones to exist, but suffers from lacking articulation. Plus some find him to be too skinny (not me though).
With all this being said, this version pretty much looks absolutely perfect and super accurate to IV. My only true gripe is (judging from what I see in the pics, that is) that his gi is blue, when I prefer it to be brown. That's it. Poor me. So it ain't brown. So what, I'll take the blue and still have this awesome figure!

Angolz charges ridiculous amounts for shipping, so technically it costs the same as BBTS.

Being an Akuma I expect a quick sell out but I can't get over those "joints". I think statues have spoiled me...

Not for international customers. We'd still be adding shipping cost on top of what BBTS is already charging.

Yeah bro. 1/6 figures=joints unless you want a rubber body that breaks down over time.

Yeah the high dream akuma have a cool sculpt too not sure if other collectors find him good though. I managed to get two high dream variants I opened one and the other one still in the box.

Even though the high dream figure is awesome, it just lacked something I can't put my finger on. It just seems boring.

Just found out about this figure when a local shop's Facebook page announced this as "coming soon". Funny that my first impression of it was like some on here, which is it looks like a PAK figure with real cloth costume and a larger scale. Headsculpt looks good though, and love its poseability.
