I don't see a gap at all, I see a blue/green light hitting his back area and highlighting a fold or something similar. If you watch the Sideshow video when they first premiered this, the end of the video shows him sideways with no extra lighting effects. There is no gap

Yeah I don't see where it would go exactly but I imagine it'd be anywhere along those cracks/scales whatever you want to call em in his skin. It'll be fairly well hidden I think though.

Those cracks do seem a bit deeper. The other end of the seam might be here but it's too well hidden to be true, IMO...

I believe its only the top half of the head that comes off, hence you don't see a seam on the neck
