Asking one of my XM source's to see if he can order me one. Saw the YouTube video on this and it looks really massive. Would like to get one I think depending on how much extra it will cost and the shipping rates?

It's hard to make out what is happening in the statue. The photos are so dark and grainy.
I can see a chain on Lion-O's claw hand wrapped on something? Can't tell why or what it is?
They said there are Light Up Feautures in Mumm-Ra's Eyes and Base but I can't really see it on the Base?
The E-Mail says it cost $999.00 for One Day Only. So how much is it afterwards considering if you're in the US and wouldn't be getting it on the first day?

Is the price really $999?!

I had no intentions on getting this ...but, Wow! ...that price surprised me. I guess I just don't see the value.

It's 1/5 Scale with a Giant Base, Two Full Figures and Light Up Features.
I was thinking $1200.00
So, a Grand is not bad for this when you consider just how much Everyone Else is asking nowadays for their piece's.

Wow massive. Most 1/5 statue cost $400.00 to $450.00 and throw in massive base so it's in the right ball park

It could have been done without the entire base and been pretty cool. Probably half the cost also. Probably 1/4 the footprint too.

Did the pre-orders sell out on their site? If not it was probably too much for Thundercats. Or modernized Thundercats. PCS modernized versions didn't sell fast and the line wasn't completed and stopped before we got Cheetara and a few others. Maybe if this one was 1/6 and a bit cheaper it would have worked. Perhaps more cartoon accurate too.

I wonder if Erick (Prototypez) will ever make his Thundercats?

I think it taking up almost 12 cubic ft of space had something to do with it. So big! I dont know who has room for a piece like that. Too bad for kinetiquettes and those who preordered.

Figures. I'm kind of concerned now about Mai and their other larger statues and dioramas. Expensive SNK character statues can't be that popular.
