I ended up getting rid of my Bestas. I liked them and maybe one day I'll get more, but they're really cheaply made, IMO. I was shocked to pay that much AND put them together AND find out they're cheaply made. They look great from a far.....but it's almost like painted particle board.

So what do you have now? I want to get Besta's because of the glass door options, but I'm also worried about the quality. I don't want my shelves caving in with statues on them...

I have statues scatted around the house in random places is what I have now. :lol

Serious though, we have shelves throughout the house. Space is a precious commodity though. I'd say 90% of my collection is boxed up.

dunno, besta is working for Mr. Green so far, for a couple of yrs now. it serve no purpose beside displayin statue and gathering dust like everything else.

even the composite wood desk from ikea is fine, after a decade of use. sure it got some wear n tear from usage but holding well.

What I do like is that you can easily get more and not have to worry about having a display that matches. They definitely have that going for them.

What is the weight limit on the bestå shelves?

Good question. I don't remember. I would never put my OG Hulk PF on the shelves themselves. Only on the bottom. I remember being comfortable with 25ish pounds though - which was fine for 99.9% of everything anyway. I'm sure it's a lot more, but that's what I was comfortable with. And honestly, most of those heavy hitters wouldn't fit comfortably - like the Thing PF.

Are the double wides anymore sturdy than the single wides? Also, are yours wall mounted mr green?

Just a heads up about King Hulks Loin cloth... I see a lot of collectors have this somewhat loose... I did the same thing when I first got it... I noticed that it did not fit well and had too much space in the back... I believe you are supposed to tighten it up more... I included a photo... It looks better and the back if his loin cloth does not stick out nor does his bikini briefs show on the side... Just be careful when pulling it tight.

double is better but single is just as good, especially if u put em back to back. no wall mounted, those seem like a headache to install. the back board help a little with lateral support, especially if u place em back to back.

I'm planning on putting it against a wall. Not back to back.

It says right on there website that these storage units "must be secured to the wall" (anchored) :(

up to u, Mr. Green's besta is sturdy for sure, with a 1.5-2" gap from behind and is stack back-to-back from the side. if ur doing besta well above shoulder height, then maybe
