It's a good statue; not great. The stance is just so hohum. A battle stance would have improved this PF for me. Not that I would purchase it 'cause as far as characters go Leonides isn't on any list for me. Making the exclusive the helmet version seems an odd choice.

And, collecting plastic, resin, alloy etc. anything is gay. Know what? It's in my collection and I'm confortable in it's gayness. I'm confortable in my gayness. Get over it.
I admire the sculpt, the beauty in the male physique, blah, blah,....most of us have been created with a sense of humor. If there is a higher being she/he is giggling cause this PF is gay. Heck, everyone in the netherworlds are probably getting a chuckle at the suggestion the Big Guy put in the head of the sculptors when working on this project.

They need to sculpt another Leonidas head. If they release Xerxes, he could come with creepy shoulder rubbing hands, and Leonidas could be fitted with a grossed out looking headsculpt.

Honestly though---why not have the pose with the shield up and the spear over the top of it?

The pose isn't from the film, either---you can tell yourself that all you like. The statue's leg is curved in slightly, like he's gotta take a piss.

Is it horrible? No. Just not great.

Mind you, I'm not a guy, nor have I ever watched a guy take a piss, but.....you curve in one of your legs when you piss? Does that just happen naturally or are you trying to just get that last drop out?

if anything they will applaud it cause at least this guy is a real historic figure. They will probably think that you are beginning to "heal" from this hobby, and slowly graduating into the real world...
