Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. After his turn as The Joker, Heath Ledger can be categorized as nothing but awesome.

And after his Oscar-nominated turn as a gay man, awesomeness was in doubt?

Men who play with dolls should be very careful about using the word gay with negative connotations.

Looks killer! 300 is one of the most watchable movies ever made IMO, perfect adaption of Millers comics.

I'm running out of potential room for all the damn PF's I want, but I will get this one - no doubt.

I liked this movie alot. And, I definitely am interested in this p.f.

It'll depend on when its shipping and how much.

Liked the movie but not interested in a Capt Jock Strap statue.

Not sure if the facial expression matches up too well with his stance.

The same goes for me... this peice looks awesome right now. Will have to see when, how much and what it looks like in different lighting.

says the guys whose avatar has an actor who played.....

I put the word in quotations to indicate how insensitive I think it sounds when others use it (like the person who posted above me). I think it sounds asinine when I pass by young people on the street using the term to mean "bad".

And to that other guy: The spartans did not fight naked. Don't know where you read that.

Joker. Here is a point of view for ya bro. You have every right to express your opinion on anyones thread. You are absolutely right when you say where you are from you have that right (I am assuming you live here in America) But you have to understand when you straight out SLAM a movie that a lot of people freakin loved there will be repercussions from your statement. I personally love "The 300" movie not only because I thought it was a kick ass movie with KILLER ACTION and creative visual effects but I have Greek ancestory maybe not SPARTAN ancestors as Leonidas was but close enough and am proud of what the 300 Spartans actually did that day against all odds. If that KING LEONIDAS statue gets made I for sure will have it in my collection. Anyway , think about how you will feel when you proudly start some thread about some movie or figure you really like and somebody stops by and takes a giant ^^^^ on it. Food for thought bro. It's all how you say things sometimes. Just a little advice for you. Do with it what you like.:D Mike

Easily the best Leonidis figure I have ever seen............................:bow

A 51 and a 60 on MC and RT respectively... You may want to check your implication closer.

Who gives a rat's ass.

300 had one of the most unique themes in 20th century art. That kind of attitude hasn't been seen since WWII, the American Revolution, and the Golden Age Greeks before that. There's been nothing but pragmatic, appeasing, approval-seeking, consensus-pandering skirts otherwise. It's about time someone depicted characters with a spine. Other than Batman, King Kong and Kill Bill, I don't know of any film that has reached that level of unapologetic heroism since the days of Steve McQueen.

So the opinions of a bunch of art school peacocks, steeped in post-modern, altruist garbage means nothing. They wouldn't have known what they were looking at if it had run them through the eye socket.

All that said, this statue is bad ass. Don't know if I would ever own it, but I have to applaud its creators.
