KOJUN is Weapon X, latest Hot Toys sculptor!

I changed the title in light of recent news!

I noticed the new Hot Toys- John Connor sculpt is attributed to 'Weapon X'... I can't find out anything about this dude... or gal.
Is it a name known in the HK or Japanese collecting community?

All I can find on 'Weapon X' is stuff about the Marvel comics story!

They talk about Weapon X in the magazine article I posted in the John Connor thread. Nothing new is mentioned though. Howard Chen (Hot Toys founder) wants to keep him/her a secret and doesn't even mention which country Weapon X is from. Also mentioned is that Weapon X spent a good deal of time texturizing John Connor's skin. That's all I have...><

It might be hot toys secret weapon artist , hot toys is blowing all the competition away and every time i say this is my last hot toys and they come up with something cooler ..they keep pulling me back in awmen hot toys is good .

imo this Weapon X is the same person who sculpted the Burned side of HT's Two-Face sculpt.

And who says "Weapon X" isn't!? HT never mentions any nationality. Also there's this:

Could be wrong but imo that's alluding to the first sculpt "Weapon X" did, the (chemically) burned side of Two-Face. Note, HT never says this is this persons first sculpt for HT.. they just say this person has now joined their team and HT would like to introduce them as such. My theory anyways.

I wondered if multiple people had worked on it, perhaps weapon X was a collective/co-operative... but I soon discounted that... well I think I did!

I'm wondering if it's someone who was or is contractually working for other sources (SS, Enterbay etc... ) could it be Trev? I've heard him mention how impressed he was with the HT skin texturing.

Why so secretive about someones name when it comes to sculpting. It doesn't make sense why a sculptor would not want to be known.

Very interesting development... now people outside of Korea can finally have Kojun sculpts and not worry about being ripped off
