Big gorilla....yawn.......the film needs Fury and Loki to bring the MCU audience so it won't bomb like Tarzan did last year.. all the hate for Disney & MCU but studio's and film makers know where money can be found.

Resistance? That Monkey ain't Rocky, sure he might be more intelligent than Rocky, but he's got no heart or boxing skills because he's an ape. Besides, Godzilla can just step on him and it's over.

Absolutely not true. I'm one of the biggest G fans out there. If you've seen pictures of my collection, you know it's true. But....King Kong vs Godzilla was the first G movie I ever saw. Guess I was maybe five or six. Kong was it for me. He was the underdog, but I was rooting for him all the way. He used his speed, agility and intellect at every turn. Becoming electrically charged didn't hurt either.

Sorry, I'm not with you guys on this. Obviously they are not going to make this movie without some sort of premise for the fight, regardless of the track record of the past. If Kong doesn't get some sort of size increase, then he's going to be the pesky little fly nipping at the ears of the mighty elephant. I don't want to see Godzilla deep sixed, of course, but I'm going to be rooting for Kong again. So, a la the tree sandwich scene, Kong jumps up on G's back, pulls back his head and jambs an oxygen destroyer down his throat. Seems just as credible as a bunch of cement trucks pulling up to Shin and pumping him full of cooling agents.

Btw, Godzilla fought a Moth once. Went over so well, they did a remake.

Because they're both big popular monsters. I'm sure they'll make a good out of it, even if realistically speaking, Kong shouldn't stand a chance. Just look at Batman V Superman.

I doubt they'll kill him if they make a DZ vs Kong movie. Besides, Godzilla is not undefeated, so they could give Kong a win. They'll probably team up to fight a larger monster and then after they win, they'll go their separate ways. As ridiculous as that sounds, it's the most likely scenario.

Ridiculous sounding, yes, but not impossible. Mothra was able to convince both Rodan and Godzilla that they need to all work together to fight Ghidorah in this scene:
