Not while she's awake.

Good point, or maybe it will be implied at the end of the movie that the military was going to continue studies/experiments on the island and try to weaponize Kong or some of the other creatures.

Iron Kong?

Clown you are owning this thread lol

And no way in hell could MCU Hulk or Thor beat Godzilla.

MCU Cap would put up a good fight though lol.

Re: Kong: Skull Island

Ok but what if they keep Kong at a small size still and he is pretty much fighting a bigger Godzilla so he's using tactics and weapons to fight him. Like he's a nuisance to Godzilla . I'd be something sorta new. Just don't see how this Kong can fight Godzilla unless he like uses some huge..... wait what if King Kong pilots mega g? So we get mecha g and King Kong vs godzilla in the same movie.

Re: Kong: Skull Island

You guys are small in the skulls. :lol
There's no way this Kong can fight GINO14 - not only he's too small but there's no chance he'd survive his own film. It is set in 70's so most likely another, bigger Kong (an offspring maybe) will make it to the crossover.

Re: Kong: Skull Island

My big curiosity at this point is HOW do they end up against each other. Kong has his island and would likely pose no threat since he couldn't swim away or anything, so does man take Kong off the island, does Godzilla get drawn to Skull island for some reason, or, and this is the idea i like most, does Godzilla go from man's savior to a threat and Monarch looks to use Kong to fight him off like they used Godzilla against the MUTOs.

Re: Kong: Skull Island

The real important question here is will Kong swing Godzilla around by his tail.

The best part of it all is I bet TOHO has it specifically stipulated in the contract that Godzilla has to win the fight anyways since he's the king of all monsters and Universal just doesn't give a **** if Kong dies or not lol.

I mean think about it everyone is so used to Kong being the tragic figure because he always dies, Universal is not going to disturb that already established long standing mind set.

Whoever wins. We lose.

Re: Kong: Skull Island

Nah, we're good.
Even if new movies suck they still generate enough noise which leads to more toys and collectibles.

Re: Kong: Skull Island

This thread has put me in the mood. I shall watch whatever Kong and Godzilla films I happen to have....apart from Godzilla 1998 (which I'm sure I rewatched already within the last 2 years)
