Just strolled in to my local toy store Amoktime to pickup a hot toys Robocop and had these two staring at me. I coulda swore I heard 3PO saying "Hey Over Here!" This is defintely my favorite piece from Koto. I own quite a few but this is the pinnacle of perfection outta all there snap kits. 3PO and R2 have rotating heads. Thats about all the articulation you get but I think the pose is just right anyway. Bonus cool points for not putting pegs on there feet and leaving em on the stand. Cant wait for SS Jabba so I can throw 3PO on the base! Simply beautiful!!! On a bad note I got a Robo with the head paint problem. Have to go exchange it today.

Oh yeah, sorry - Welcome to the board mate!!

Hey Darth, do you have any 12" Sideshow figures you can pose with these and post some pix. How do they compare in size to the 12" figures.

The scale is defintely smaller to sideshows 12 inchers. It says 1/7 scale on the box. You can see the diffrence immediately. They look better on the stand next to Luke then off it. Actually R2 looks ok but 3PO is a tad short.

They look really nice, I especially like the way they brought out R2s panels with the black. Great stuff!

Yeah I got the Robocop but when I took the head out of the package I noticed it was missing paint on the left and right sides of the head. The paint was stuck on the packing. I am going to the store to return it today. I hope they dont give me a problem. When you pay $130 for a model it better be perfect. I know they had another in stock so if they switch it for me Ill post pics later.

Thanks for the pix Maguns....they quite a bit smaller. I have the Koto Vader ROTS, and he displays rather well with SS Luke.

A very nice set,the R2 looks a lot better scaled in relation to 3PO than the Hasbro 1/6 versions and it's a shame that they aren't perfectly scaled with Sideshow figures.

Those are incredable looking ill have to buy a set.

Are those Ron's gremlins ?

Those droids look good.

Stupid question: How hard are these to put together???

I have always wanted to get a few of these but I've got no talent when it comes to model-building.

These are super easy, they just snap together. Sometime a little force is needed but they are sturdy too.

I've always wondered why Koto figures aren't shipped assembled. It's not like any skill is needed to snap 3 or 4 pieces together. And what's the deal with the huge boxes?

I think 3PO and R2 look great, btw. I'm just going to wait until Sideshow comes out with theirs. We all know it's going to happen.

Great stuff man. I wonder how these look next to Medicom's SW offerings?
