Re: Kotobukiya Fine Art line

Here are pics of my 1/6 scale X-Men figures from Kotobukiya (and some Bowen). I really love the way Magneto came out and I think it is the best Magneto statue to date (until Sideshow gets off their butts and releases the Magneto 1/4 PF that has been in the works for the last three years.:impatient:)

The X-Force version of Archangel is another well done statue by Kotobukiya. Hopefully, someday we will get a 1/4 scale Archangel from the Jim Lee era.

I'd start reading comics again if they made this X-Men team! :rock

Agreed. This is the best Magneto statue I have ever seen. I love mine. It mixes in perfectly with my Bowen X-MEN pieces.

Re: Kotobukiya Fine Art line

Spidey and Venom look like they will be great looking pieces. Love the proto pics of those statues.

They all look pretty sweet, especially Hawkeye. The only one I'm not too crazy over is Wolverine with the masked portrait. It looks a little mis-shapen or something. The unmasked portrait looks good though.

Re: Kotobukiya Fine Art line

Koto are now my favourite brand, the sculpts and poses are awesome and being 1/6 is sweet. All they need to do is expand the marvel universe, which they are slowly doing).

Re: Kotobukiya Fine Art line

I'm pretty sure Koto will give 1/4 scale a shot in the near future. They know their line sculpted by Erick Sosa has a high demand so they might try and step into Sideshow's territory.

Re: Kotobukiya Fine Art line

a 1/4 license costs a fortune

Yep. Not only that, but there is room for a lot of growth in their 1/6th line. It's not like they exhausted their possibilities in that scale. Still a lot of other characters that can be made in 1/6th scale. I can't see them jumping into a 1/4 line anytime soon.

Re: Kotobukiya Fine Art line

I agree they can make plenty more 1/6 before they come close to looking at 1/4. Not only are there plenty of Marvel stuff to develop and release, but they've also got DCto get into, they've only made a few ArtFX statues, barely any fine art stuff.

Nice display Mister Ski

Havok ftw! Wish SS will make a PF of him so we can display the Summers brothers together.

Thanks fuzzy! Havok fans unite! :hi5:

I thought I was the only one who wanted a Havok PF. I am glad to see I am not alone. Let's keep asking Sideshow to make it happen. :lecture:pray:

I think you just convinced me to go with this Koto version over the Bowen X-Force Archangel repaint...
