Well as someone who fully appreciates Shunya Yamashi.ta's work, I think it's beautiful. Yeah it's small when compared to other high quality statues but that doesn't really matter to me. The fact that it's plastic doesn't matter to me either, I've seen "plastic" figures that have put actual statues to shame in the detail department. These have to be grouped in their own category anyway and not with other larger statues.

OMG, that is so tiny you can put it on top of a cake like an ornament... Nice figure though.

...Actually I don't think it looks bad...but IMO the price tag is a tad high for what you get. I think 40 even would be fair. :monkey3

I think most everybody agrees with this. Not a bad piece at all, but overpriced for what you get IMO There's so much better stuff out there or waiting to be released...

agreed!...I thought the base was made of solid vinyl but sadly, no....just regular plastic and hollow which is shocking considering the price they go for!........pretty cute, but still...:monkey2

....not even worth as a paperweight!

I have Rogue on hold at my local funnybook store. They only are charging $50 for her and I get 20% off, plus no tax, on all statues and busts. So, she'll only be $40...not a bad deal. I think she's worth that...heck, I think she's worth the $50.
Would have picked her up this week but with Black Queen coming in 1.5 weeks ago and now X-23 demanding payment and Dagger coming in 2 weeks I've got to start saving some dough.

I would like to get this, but I don't even see it being possible in the months to come. I have too much on order from SS. These months alone a have 4 statues on flexpay!

i preordered both rogue and black widow a while back but had to cancel. :monkey2

just had too many things coming in and i forced myself to prioritize in favour of my real grail pieces.

still sad to let em go though. i'm also a big shunya yamanotallowedtotypehislastnameherehita.

i do agree that they're a little overpriced....

Mine should be here tomorrow, I was going to cancel but frankly, I forgot. Still excited though! My LCS has the Black Widow, so Rogue is going to be used to gauge to see if I pick up the others. I may get Scarlet Witch reguardless, though, to go with the comiquette.

Had no plans on getting this but my LCS was having an anniversary sale with 20% off on all items. Couldn't pass up a sweet piece like this for that price.

Got both today. Here's some crappy pics.

I really like 'em. The size is a drawback even for myself, but no one else is offering Marvel girls in this style. So they'll do for now.

not a big fan of the rogue but i really like Black Widow, are these at least comparable in size to the electric tiki buffy statues??

I picked up Rogue yesterday. I gotta say I love the look of it, really nice sculpt. Clean paint and nice use of glossy finish on her boots. Really a cool little piece, key word there is little. The thing is tiny, about the size of a 6" action figure, and even lighter then one. Totally not worth the price. If it was cast in in something heavier, sure, but cheap plastic is a disappointment. I'm moving in a month, and if the place I end up in has some extra room I may pick up the Widow and SW, but if I don't have the room I certainly won't make an effort ot pick up the rest of this series like I originally planned.

I just find it a little funny that people are complaining about the size and the fact it's made out of plastic, when those things were known from the beginning. It's 1/8 scale and yes it's a pretty small scale. To me it's more about the look and quality of the piece.

Also compared to other PVC figures these are a bargain, most of the 1/7 and 1/6 scale ones are close to the $100 range or a little higher now. I guess I'm more used to small scale pieces than others and the material these are made out of as I collect Anime figures but it's all just my opinion. I'm hoping to be able to pick up Rogue one day.

i think those of us who are used to collecting anime figures will not find the size as much of an issue as those who collect only larger-scale stuff like 1/6, pfs, etc.

jap statues have always had weird scale. in fact, sometimes their stuff aren't even in any kind of consistent scale. i have 2 "girls of shunya yamas-hita" statues by the same company (yamato) and they're both completely different scales. but i can overlook it cos the sculpts are so appealing.

This is literally the first anime figure I've ever even held, not owned, held. So I wasn't sure what to expect. It says 1/8 scale, but its no bigger then some of my 1/6 figures. And honestly I had plans to cancel my order, but somewhere down the the line it slipped my mind and I forgot I had even ordered it. When I got the shipping notice I was very confused.
