Have we confirmed that the tongue is removable or does it come with two different heads like Colossus, Caps, Iron Man, Wolvie and Magneto? The inclusion of interchangeable heads will make it safer in my opinion than a removable tongue. Whatever the case is, I am guessing that it will use magnets. Koto has uses this approach as of lately, so I don't see a reason for change.

Head looks exactly the same in each shot so I'm guessing just the tongue. Would be dumb if it was a second head but they didn't do something different.

Wow McFarlane had no venom tongue? I always thought he was the one who created this. But either way I'm so getting this venom. So 1/6 for this is bigger than spidey 1/6 correct?

Venom was McFarlane's co-creation yet it was Erik Larsen who added the tongue . Both versions are awesome!

David Michelinie wrote the plot for the character and Todd drew him. They used the plot script method, also known as the "Marvel Style". When this creative system was applied, automatically both, Michelinie and McFarlane became co-creators of the character. Erik Larsen came afterwards to add the now iconic tongue, when he drew Venom.

I shared this video review of The Amazing Spiderman by David Michelinie and Todd McFarlane on the other forum. Here it is for those interested. Beware, it is over 30 minutes long but has a lot of fun and informative facts of the McFarlane Spidey era.

No ****? Just looked this up... Been telling people for years it was bagley who pioneered the venom tongue... Opps

Bagleys work was always what really mattered to me. Most exciting versions of all my favorite spidey villains

I don't think I've seen that before but, the blue on that spiderman with the nutshot looks great. I would have liked for that to have been on the koto piece but its all good.

And that Venom :naughty Bring on Carnage!

I read on a post (I think it was at another forum) that Koto originally planned to release Carnage to go with Spidey and Venom. A Koto rep did not rule out that possibility depending on the demand for the Venom statue. Fingers crossed for Carnage and saying my prayers...
