they want to hold onto the rights for the character and tried to make this "universe" even though it failed several times. It has to be either stupidity or money laudering that they keep making movies of characters nobody cares about without the main Protagonist.

Yep, Sony fell too much in love with their Venom formula: Make a villain movie and people will show up! And the people said, "Nah, fools.". Hollywood idiots.
So Kraven will be Sony's Spiderverse "Endgame?" They should start showing commercials that are montages of Venom, Madame Web, and Morbius and then be all "it has all come down to this..." KRAVEN.

Craven means coward so I never understood this as a 'hero' name choice (even if he's a villain)
After this movie, maybe Sony will go Toho-old school and just make Spiderman movies using existing or old footage retooled in a new film. I guess they do that already with stock CGI patterns and shots.

Love the news. Now we just need them to sell. Yea they got way to big headed with Venom. But it's Venom so Venom is going to sell but he didn't sell nearly as much cause of ...SPiderman. You know the main character your stupid universe was based on?
I LOVE how they lied to the people who joined these movies making it seem like they were going to connect to the MCu or Holland spidey in some way and they never do. Which is why they probably Ended it the week of this crappy movie. Nobody wants to be a part of there stupid universe and won;t be tricked into it.
Good job Sony and the idiots who trust Avi arad and Amy pascal (the people who are stuck in the 00s) You killed any good faith or what little you had by creating crappy villain movies to try and hold onto the rights that lead to nothing.
Seriously for the 20 people who love these movies i'm sorry but a universe with Spiderman Villinas without Spiderman was doomed to fail.
And what's hilarious is that without Spiderman most of these villians are C- D list at best. Kraven isnt even on Lizard's level or Rhino in terms of popularity. His best story is literally when he kills himself lmao.
