Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

Awesome repaint of the Joker without makeup. I'd love to see one like that with the darkness around his eyes that he has in the film when he isn't wearing his makeup.

LOL,
Well here are some quick pics, some messiness drowned out but if you approve I'll send it tomorrow morning Brant :)

By the way Brant if you want some more darkness under the makeupless Joker's eyes like wofford mentioned, I can do that before I ship as well.

Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

You have outdone yourself! That looks fantastic!

As for the darkness around the makeupless Joker, if you can do it ever so subtle. I like it how it is, but I think a little darkness around the eyes might gives his face a more skull like appearance, which would just add to the creep factor. I've got a nice big pic of Cop Joker I'll PM you.

Thanks again! :rock

Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

Thought I'd beat Chris to the punch. Here's what he completed for me tonight. A quick break from the Jokers, but sweet nonetheless. Couldn't be more happy with it. Can't wait to get it in hand.

Now back to the Jokers, since mines on the bottom of the list!

Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

Awesome Wolvie! Is that a RAH or a custom or what is that head sculpt?

Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

each member is only suppose to have one name.

Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

To top things off, Kuato paints all of Chris Howes' custom headsculpts! So its a Chris and Chris combo. When talking about those two together, I just find it easier to call him Kuato to avoid any confusion.

Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

Dang, that is some fantastic painting.

Any chance of a eye painting step by step? I just don't understand how you can paint eyes like that in that scale.

Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

Thank U very much V, and Rock. I was sort of iffy on repainting it myself cause like you said it did look like it wouldn't need one but what the hey. I did have the Rocky IV headsculpt and have repainted one, and trust me, it does look great also, but the likeness isn't quite as good on that one as it is on Rocky 3, man I'd love to repaint that one too. I have another Rocky IV hs but I've made some mods to his face to make him have the swollen eye look, I'll post up some pics If I ever get to finish it ,

Hey Kuato, did you do anything more on your Rocky IV sculpt?I would love to see it:)

He is a master, is he not? And hey, what's that? Why, it's a Chris Howes Joker!!

Sorry, Shropt, couldn't resist! :D

Chris C. is the best. He's brought out amazing subtlety in my sculpts that has really pushed the likeness. He's achieved some SERIOUS creepiness. The ultimate test is if you feel uncomfortable when looking into the eyes of a headsculpt.....
