Am I being extremely vocal :confused:

I just really think its a good body... but would sure like it to be up to its potential.

I don't think there's anything wrong being vocal. I think the majority of speaking out is favorable, great body, but, scale it up. It's not like people are saying it's a POS and start developing another new one all over again, just seeing a scale issue and hoping to see something done to take the nice new body and maximize on the engineering effort behind it.

Lando doesn't come out until 4th Quarter '09, they have plenty of time to get the scale issues worked out with the pro.

I'm not criticizing. I'm saying exactly what Marc and Sean said. Because if there's a chance that they'll listen to us, then there is no point in wasting money on another body.

True... but I'd love a tall figure on a tall Pro. Is it wrong to want my cake and eat it too?

Since the body is modular, can't this be resolved by either adding a piece to the midsection or making said piece longer? Of course, the arms would have to be scaled to match.

Okay cool... didn't want to come off as a jerk.

It should be... just curious why so far the figures have all be the height of the short buck body. But according to a Q&A before they were released:

Both the Trooper and the Prometheus bodies were designed with the expectation that both shorter and taller versions will be necessary in future products, and can accommodate these alternate heights via alternate legs and other body parts, in a similar way to previous releases that have been scaled appropriately.

They've got to work on the sloping shoulders as well or else it will look even stranger when the figure is taller and lacking shoulders.

Well I haven't seen the aplication of that statement yet.

Indy = Too short.
Belloq = Too short.

I can only assume Snakeeyes is the same story and based on PPO images Lando and Piett are no different.

SE has some tall boot though, that may be their way of making up the height difference.

I think the sloping shoulders will look realistic on most figures. BDW wasn't a huge bodybuilder or anything. Look at this pic.

Its funny, I've always been a whiner around here, but I'm pretty happy with the Pro. Funny to see people who never whined before start whining.
