Large Scale Ironman Piece for SDCC (And its not 1:1)

Wonder what this could be. Will it be movie or comic based?

Any chance of a 1:1 scale Iron Man statue based on the movie (like the one Sideshow displayed at the San Diego Comic-Con last year)? I know there is a great deal of interest on the boards for this piece!

We do have an exciting large-scale Iron Man product in development, which we plan to unveil at SDCC. It is not a 1:1 scale piece, but we think you’ll be impressed.

It is probably movie based due to the question referencing the movie version.

I would guess a 1/4 scale or larger maquette of the Mark III.

Since the question specifically asked about a 1:1 scale statue I wonder when they said its not 1:1 they were referring to the statue or overall scale.....I still say there is a Mark 02 1:1 bust coming. My guess is that we'll get a 1/4 Maquette of the film Mark 03 and a Mark 02 variant will be the SDCC Exclusive.

I orderd a custom from Sid. I dont think they will do it! I guess we will find out!

A strong possibility of MKIII here I agree. Untill then the #26 is the one to beat @ 1/4 scale! I hope the new one will be an action pose!

No one said they'd be in-stock items or even items retrievable at the show. While the Mark 02 is a longshot they very well both could be simple SDCC announcements. Meaning the Mark 03 is the regular and 02 is the exclusive kind of deal.
