of course part of me is pulling for the other piece over at Favreau's.

so i would say that this one is 1:2 scale then????
looks great but a tad to big for me...............maybe maybe not.:lol
why can't we just get this in 1:4 scale:confused::confused:

yeah, and of course the bigger the heavier, and more costly to ship up to canada. :(

anyone know how much something like this piece is going for???

I believe it was posted that they are 1:3 scale. 1:2 would still be bigger look at the LSBs for an example of the head at minimum.

oh, i was just going by the picture with the sculptor standing beside IM on top of the milk cartons. (some pretty high tec equipment there :lol)

looked like two IM's stacked on top each other would be about the same hiegth as the sculptor.

Height wise yeah, but proportions the LSB is probably the size of the whole upper torso, but its definitely bigger than 1/4.

It's just too damn big, it would fit in with nothing in my collection, why not just a 1/4 like the poster said up above. I know others would not keep their CIM but I would have both. Classic and Modern side by side the old and new, reborn!!!!

No one said they'd be in-stock items or even items retrievable at the show. While the Mark 02 is a longshot they very well both could be simple SDCC announcements. Meaning the Mark 03 is the regular and 02 is the exclusive kind of deal.

Gotcha, I thought you were referring to a Con exclusive; i.e. pick up.

It is an amazing piece. Here is the pic from Favreau's TwitPic:

Is this a one off by Stan Winston Studios made for John Favreau? It would be nice if something that good was made for the public.

Man, there sure are alot of planets which need alignment before I begin picking out a special spot for this mystery piece:

What character will it be?
What size will it be?
Will it be affordable? (boy does that term have a million different definitions)
Will it be for SDCC attendants only?
Will it be 2 seperate items, one Exc for SDCC and another for non attendants?
Will it be the same piece for all?
How many?
Will Skiman ever quit the gym and eat a ton of donuts and pizza?

Could always be bigger:

Funny you should bring this big guy up. I had the opportunity to buy one of the life-size Hulks for $200 pending I haul it off, but I passed. It's really amazing to see in person, but honestly, it's too big. I was this close to buying it, but I just couldn't get myself to do it. :(

Wait, wait..

you wrote $200, did you mean to write $2,000?

For $200, I would've carried him on my back, weatherproofed him and plopped him in my back yard to scare away the deers and built a swing on his arm for my son and then charged $3.00 a picture from the neighborhood kids!

Please tell me you didn't turn him down for $200.....i'll i'll....:google

It looks 1:2 scale to me as well, but honestly I'd be ALL for that one! :rock And I hope it would have some sort of light-up feature. I'm not the biggest IM fan, but this would be almost impossible for me to pass up. I'm this close to buying the 1:1, but with this new announcement, I might hold off. If this is what we have coming (or something similar in 1:2 scale,) then it will definitely be my next SS purchase!
