Large Scale Ironman Piece for SDCC (And its not 1:1)

i think i posted earlier in another thread that i saw one at my lcs, not this version though, it was more along the comics or ang lee's movie version, and yeah he was friggin huge probably 8-9 feet tall.

i think they've all just seen abomination get it on with liv tyler.

Well,

I just sent a message to Marvel sales regarding this big Hulk because it has AZ AND NY as its location for one of them, a tad bit confusing.

If its NY, i'm going for it....he'll go in the garage until he's weatherproofed.

Well, yes and no.

I want to weatherproof him just incase he ever does end up temporarily outside for whatever reason which will involve entertaining kids either at Birthday or Halloween parties.

For the most part he will be in the house but just incase he gets dragged outside.

Please let him be in NY. This will be a done deal. Pickup truck and friends are on standby....what time are you and Ski arriving here...LOL!!

Let me see, $800 for a Punisher PF or $800 for an almost 9ft Hulk, and not a crappy looking one at that! Hard choice....NOT!

jye4ever - I too love this Hulk piece and I would buy one, if it wasn't for my wife. She likes the statue too (which is amazing), but she has a very good point, our house has one room with vaulted ceiling, and there is no other place the Hulk could go. And she doesn't want to be looking at a 9' Hulk every day .

Time for crappy math class students:

Movie Theater Hulk = 102 inches at approx $7.90 an inch!!

Hullk PF = 20 inches at $25.00 an inch (I payed $500, imagine at $1,000 then it would be $50.00 an inch..OUCH!!!)

I'm just using the current prices, not when these 2 items first came out ($325 vs $3.700)

I'm in no way knocking the Hulk PF, that's my other son but DOH!!!!!!

Its not crazy Spiderman Vs Hulk from SS for a thousand dollars or just as detailed 9 ft Hulk. Go for it man.

I mean, that's a huge space user. It's not worth the space. Much better pieces to get. It looks like it would be in a theme park. Not a quality statue.

You bring up some valid points no doubt about it.

I agree about the quality to a point but for the $800 price point I think his quality is pretty decent plus what it lacks in detail he makes up for it in MASS! Space, eventually we all run out of it....

For me I think it just gets down to knowing that I own a Hulk of that size, that's got to count for something....
