Good job!
It took my eyes over 2 weeks to adjust and heal but I finally went to 20/15.
Glad you're ok.
Ok so here is my last update. I just got back from my follow up and am 20/20 in both eyes. I guess I am lucky because my doctor told me this is not the case with most people. He did say that it may change at times. Hopefully it will end up being better than 20/20. My next follow up is on the 11th. Then I think I have another one in a month.
Thats odd, my doctor said most see about 20/20 the next day. I was 20/20 in one eye and 20/15 in the other the next day.
I describe the experience like this:
The procedure wasn't pleasant but it was quick, and very effective.
Actually I blame my moms horrible eye site for having had to do this. One out of 11 on my dads side of the family needs glasses, but 3 out of four on my moms side needed glasses. To think this procedure wouldn't have been necessary if we had only listened to our mothers.

Lasik is a wonderful example of the free market in health care. Since most insurance companies don't cover the procedure, quality has gone up and prices have gone down as more and more facilities crop up that offer it. As competition has grown, so has patient care. I received two follow up calls from my eye surgeon that was paid by me. My oral surgeon who insurance paid didn't contact me once.
Get rid of networks and approved provider lists. Let the doctors compete for your health care dollars and watch those prices drop.
Thats good, to hear, I don't even really get the dry eye part. Everyone in a while I will but according to my doctor I used to have dry eyes due to the way I wore my contacts so he thinks I just use to it so I dont notice it.Just a quick update guys and gals. I am still a firm 20/15 in both eyes. Only symptom so far is dryness when I first wake up. Other than that I am great!
