Shia was the best actor in Transformers. Outshining pretty much everyone.

He was the only one in that movie to convey real, honest emotion.

I don't have a problem with LaBeouf, but he's never really wowed me in anything he's done.

And I recommend you don't watch the Sigur Rós video he's in if you don't want to see his little LaBeouf. :monkey4

That's not saying much though. :lol

But yeah. Shia was definitely fun to watch in the first Transformers.

When you have actors like John Turturro, Frances McDormand, and John Malkovich in your film, and Shia outshines them all, it's not, not saying much. It's saying a lot. :lol

But it's also expected he'll be out performed by the likes of, Hardy, Oldman and Pearce. Never said he didn't have the prowess of a good actor, I was just saying he didn't have the power the others do, the three mentioned anyway.

Has no one else seen this yet? I thought it was really solid. Top-notch acting all around (even by LaBeouf), beautifully shot, great action...but I felt there was something missing to make this film epic. I'd still highly recommend it.

I was a bit disappointed that Oldman's character was only in a few scenes, because he owned!

Him hitting his guy in the head with a shovel was great!

I wish I could've rewound the movie and watched that part again. :lol

Yeah. I just forgot about it. I was pretty disappointed. I expected something...a little more. I was surprised at how straight forward it was.

That being said, I accepted the flick for what it was, and it was OK. I liked a lot of things, but didn't feel that "WOW, THIS MOVIE IS GREAT" feeling.

I wanted to give poor Cricket a hug. :( Poor wittle guy. Should've used his super powers. :lol

The Cricket thing you could see happening as soon as his character was introduced. I didn't care for how nuts Pearce's character was. It's one thing to be a driven lawman, it's another for him to be completely off the rails with no reason given. I don't know, maybe the real guy was like that. :dunno

I thought hardy was fantastic. But this movie proves that the mask he wore in TDKR wasn't the reason he was so hard to understand. :lol

Every scene with Hardy got me interested. He made me laugh. Shia was OK...but his character should've been less Shia, and more....something else.

I did like Guy Pierce. He was a goofy ass villain. I like a good goofy ass villain.

:lol

loved this movie Tom Hardy made this for me Oldman is always good & Guy Pearce was also good
