I get what you're saying, but Kubrick isn't exactly obscure to anyone in film. Sure the average movie goer (and those who are younger may not have even seen 2001) isn't going to catch it. But anyone who is a movie aficionado, let alone a director is probably going to know it. Not to mention it is a Warner Brothers film, as were nearly all of Kubrick's including 2001.

There are too many people in this world for them not to have similar ideas. Good minds and all that ...

True story: A guy I know has been writing his own scripts for the past few years. Nothing produced or optioned, but he has been submitting them and having them peer reviewed, etc. He received a review back from a professional blasting him for plagiarizing a while back. My friend wrote a script about a guy who falls in love with a sex doll and the reviewer tore him apart for ripping off 'Lars and the Real Girl' which had yet to even be released at the time let alone seen and my friend knew nothing about it. It was really disconcerting to him.

Anyway, awesome trailer.

I wrote my own JP4 and submitted it to [email protected] (only email I could find) and said, "Here! Idc if I dont get proceeds." Low and behold the new title is similar to what I submitted. I even had a film reviewer look over my ideas. lol

So I can confirm some people's **** gets used

That trailer was simply breath taking! So dark, grim, and erie. Loved every second of it too! I hope the film has the same dark tone throughout! If so, this is going to be one incredible event! Can hardly wait for May of 14!!!!

Yea but his video isnt really the same. It looks like every other halo jump video out. Plus this one had godzilla so thats totally different. He can try to sue if he thinks they stole I guess.

I can't wait to see the figures and pick out the one I'm going to get.

Seeing the visuals of the trailer, I can only imagine the artwork coming in the art book.

I don't imagine it'd be easy but I'd love if they released a black and white special edition blu ray.

Fantastic idea. I loved when they did that with "The Mist" as well. They did a proper B&W transfer as well, it looked great.

Great trailer. And I'm very happy with the Zilla design from what we can see of it.

Due date's 2 weeks after , as much as Godzilla means though, baby means so much more and is first priority. I'll be happy either way but I'm hoping for Son of Godzilla Otherwise I don't know if I can pass along all my toys
