Its gonna be a huge year for figure buying. I cant wait to see how that 30 inch figure will look like. Im buying big figs for this film. No 6 inch figs.

Funny part is that movies made here with Japanese elements or influence have all been failures in Japan recently.

47 Ronin, The Wolverine, PR etc have all bombed in Japan.

The poster and the perspective of the trailer gave me a concern. I wonder if this film is going to follow the modern trend these films tend to have with the focus being on the military and them being the hero of the film. All these films like this have to throw in this rah-rah military propaganda, but in the real Godzilla films the military almost always failed. It was science that was the weapon used to repel Godzilla. Furthermore, it was a scientist who used it and sacrificed himself to keep it from being used as a military weapon. I hope Edwards made that distinction in this film. I always felt it was important that intellect was used to stop Godzilla and not "conventional" weapons.

I can understand people who haven't been waiting on edge following all the news with this film not being super ooh ahh about the trailer, the lack of dialogue doesn't give much for them to get into.

Anyone who does not like this trailer is Dead inside.

Opening is a complete rip-off of something i did for Verizon in US.

Yeah I see what you mean without question. The Music especially... But Your guys were not going to land on Godzilla so this new version is better.

Seeing the visuals of the trailer, I can only imagine the artwork coming in the art book.

Love the tone and direction Edwards is taking with this movie. Reminds me a lot of the 1954 classic.

Kudos for casting Ken Watanabe to play Dr. Serizawa.
I guess we can expect an oxygen destroyer or 2014 equivalent.
