I never knew Godzilla used Grenades.... that's extra awesome

I think Godzilla looked better at 50 m tall. It's ridiculous that he's now almost 1/7 of a kilometer in height.

As a kid, I think I remember Godzilla's height either being 50 or 100 Meters on those Trendmasters Cards that came with the toys. I wish we could see the '98 Godzilla version and a human, tank, and some landmark buildings from around the world on that. I'm American. Meters mean nothing to me... :dunno :lol

Well, if I remember somewhat correctly, 50 meters is 165 ft tall.

100 meters is 328 ft tall about.

While in the 50's and 60's Tokyo, 50 meters was a very big imposing monster. You could see him in the skyline when he's attacking a city.

But as cities got taller and skyscrapers were built, 50 meters just really wasn't that big. It would look too King Kong-ish. The only reason Godzilla didn't stay 100m tall in the later films is because the miniature cities were too hard to build on a smaller scale and have them look realistic. But, with this film, that won't be a problem. Godzilla has to be massive to look like a destroyer in modern day cities.

That's bad! Congrats dude that poster and shirt are really cool. Surprised the hat is a New Era.....should be very good quality.

Thanks, the hat is really nice, the logo is all embroidered and it's a flex-fit. I rarely wear ball caps so when my wife saw it she was like, that's nice, too bad you won't wear it, I just shot her a look like the hell I won't lol.

The t-shirt is surprisingly really nice too, cotton-poly blend, but from what I gather, these are pieces that were produced for production crew and select press giveaways so they probably wanted top quality.

I like the art on the shirt, I really feel like Legendary is putting effort into their marketing and giving us artsy designs like this and soliciting the Mondo poster, which would make a badass t-shirt, maybe with some luck.

Godzilla vs Barkely will always have a place with me, it was the first time I ever got caught up in hype over anything Godzilla, there were teasers and stuff for it and I was waiting for it to come out, and it was pre-internet and it aired late so it was a big deal to stay up and see it. Also my only shirt I ever had with a Toho Godzilla, certainly had plenty from G98.

G98 is one of my favorite designs of the Big G.
I wish I could have a pro level statue of that one that's taller than 18".
