Fifty Shades did better than John Wick? Wow! How many guys got dragged to the wrong movie?

I thought this was okay. My kids loved it. I did like the nods to the previous batman films.

Ya ok is what I thought also, it was kinda blahzay

Was the part when killer croc said look I did something a shot at suicide squad?

Thought all the nods to Batmans history, movies and shows was well done. But the overall story sucked. Wasn't all that funny. And what is with WB trying to make Bats and Barbara a couple, again?

I thought it was a lot of fun. About on par with a Marvel Studios movie. Could have been better served if they slowed things down and let the story breathe a bit, but they are targeting kids, many of whom have add, so. . .Billy Dee 2 Face was a terrific easter egg. I also cracked up at Bane ever time he spoke. Certainly the best DC movie since Dark Knight.

Yeah he has like three quick lines.

I just saw this today (after I saw John Wick again). It was good. I thought the beginning was fantastic, making fun of all the tropes, Batman being a loner, all the funny jokes and references, etc. But there was a point where it felt like it was dragging on and everything ceased to be funny. I think it was after the fortress of Solitude sequence when a Batman is imprisoned and Joker let's all the villains out of the Phantom zone or whatever. Sauron, King Kong, and the wicked witch of the West was great.

Loved the montage of all the different Batman movies. I thought it was funny that they used that shot of Batman with Vicki Vale because when J was a kid, that was like an iconic Batman picture for me because of the Prince album and VHS box. I also loved the Terrance Stamp Zod scene and got chills when they played the mysterious Fortress of solitude John Williams music.

It's be cool if some of those things got actual minifigures. I'd buy em'

I agree, it was a solid flick but nowhere near as funny as The Lego Movie. I actually think the Lego Ninjago movie looks to be funnier from the initial trailer.

I also wasn't a fan of Zach Galifiniakas (however you spell it) as Joker. His voice was just mediocre and mundane compared to Will Arnett's stellar Batman voice. He seemed like an everyday-man Joker and I think they could've got someone better. Nice touches and homages all around in the film but it did get to point where the jokes were no longer funny...

:rock :rock That's all the incentive I need to see it now and not wait until it's out on DVD.

Just saw this at the dollar theater with the kids this weekend. I *loved* the opening, thought the beginning with the Joker hijacking the plane was hilarious. "I'm a loser at home and at work," Joker claiming that this new heist "will be better than the thing with the two boats" and all of that. I was laughing way more than my kids at those parts. Also got a kick out of all of Bruce's alone time in the mansion. But somewhere around the midpoint of the movie it seemed to fizzle, like they ran out of funny things to say about the character and decided to make it a generic Lego movie instead. I think the only big laugh after the halfway point was Batman's temper tantrum *up* the staircase, lol.

We saw it in 2D but I was really impressed with the Lego visuals, I'm sure it looked awesome in 3D.
