same here, don't really understand what's with the arrow stabbing hand. i don't remember him using arrows to stab enemies.

he actually uses his arrows for stabing a lot in the films...In just about every battle he is in he stabs a few times. I know in the Helms Deep battle scene he stabs a few times.....

some super LOtR nerd can probably list every time he stabs with his arrow..:D

Is this the first time SS has offered more than One exc. with a figure:confused: .....All my SS 12" are exc. and I dont remeber any of them coming with multiple exc..

PS....:banana Post # 100..:joy :D :banana

The Aragorn 12-inch exclusive comes with 2 exclusives (pipe and cloak).

edit: Dang nabbit SolidLiquidFox beat me.

Looks good. I will be chomping at the bit to get my order in tomorow for this one...

To bad they did not go with the Lothlorien bow as an exclusive or the sword and leather from Helm's Deep...............either way..........the head skulpt is the best compared to the WETA..................god I hated to say that.

This exclusive looks like another must-have but I have jury duty tomorrow! Ugh! I hope to catch a break but otherwise it's going to have to be the waitlist for me!

I wonder how the hood will work over the long plastic hair? My guess is that it will be great.

Can't wait to see what's next!

These exclusives are awesome, I especially like the stabbing arrow bit! I am a little bummed that one of the exclusives is the lothlorien cloak, as Strider didn't come with one. While I like his green cloak, all of the fellowship did get their cloaks as a gift from the elves. If he has his lothlorien cloak, does he have the bow he uses earlier in the movie, or the one he uses for the rest of the trilogy? Sorry for being such a huge nerd!

I wonder if a few people out there will be finding ways to pick up more than one Legolas Exclusive, so they can put a Lothlorien cloak on Strider as well.

Not a bad idea if you wanted to go that route.

They may wait for Boromir as they will probably share the same body build.

Good point tough. Had not thought about it.

So what's the deal now with exclusives?

I heard Sideshow say they will not repeat exclusives. Thus, no future LOTR figure will have an "exclusive" Lothlorien cloak.

The problem is obvious -- they all have the cloak at some point. However, will Gimli come standard with a cloak? Will Hobbits?

You see the problem...

Hi, Wor-Gar! Why didn't you join us in the SS chat during Toy Fair?

Anyway, the "no repeated exclusives" claim was given back when people thought that without the Kit Fisto Droid Head they wouldn't be able to complete a Geonosis Arena Threepio. And, of course, as a general rule, it's a solid policy.

But I'm not sure that this will apply to the Lórien cloaks. It's very unclear how have they envisioned the Fellowship in 12", as Aragorn and Legolas seem to be from two slightly different sections in the movies -- one is pre-Lórien, one is post-Lórien. So right now we have no way of telling how the other members of the Company will be attired.

I'm sure Sideshow is aware of the fans' wishes for a complete Fellowship as it walked out of Rivendell (that's the only reason I can think of why they offered a PF Frodo in Moria, of all places), but it's strange that they chose to reveal these two exclusives right at the end of Toy Fair. Everyone from SS was so incredibly mum on the issue during the chats. Had we known this in advance, we could've asked some staffers meaningful questions about the narrative integrity of the 12" line -- something that could've put many fears to rest.

What was I saying? Oh yeah. I hope every 12" Fellowship member from now on gets a Lórien cloak as a regular accessory. I shudder to think of the expense and trouble involved in getting a second Exclusive, as Tom suggested.

Anyway, the LOTR 12" line doesn't sell out as fast as the SW 12", so I hope all of you who want your Legolas, get your Legolas.

:)
