Leia's Lashes

Love the Leia sculpt. It's the perfect blend of pretty/sarcastic/sultry/dangerous that any princess of Alderaan should strive for.

Agree the eyelashes in person add a nice touch of depth, and reasonably subtly from a distance.

It was a bit of a fine line with this sculpt. I watched the first of EpIV last night for the first time in several months. Her makeup is very heavy, and it would have been easy to cross the line into cartoonish. I think they stayed just the right side of the line and got a great stylized look without straying into charicature.

Now a question ... Does anyone know what the motivation for the Stormie blaster was? Publicity shot perhaps? She gets one shot off with her skinny pistol in the movie, before being stunned, and never holds another gun. Oh wait, I think I have it ... Does she fire a stormtrooper blaster in the hallway before jumping into the garbage pit?

Yes, she blasts the hole in and then a couple of shots down the hall. She also kills a Stormtrooper with that blaster while Luke is getting out his grappling hook before they swing over the canyon.
