Okay...one more...Sorry Les...I can't help it!

The Hicks head sculpt in my signature icon below is the repainted "Stoner" head I repainted. Not even half as nice as the one Les has done. Stoner went "bye-bye". Replaced now with Les's great head sculpt that I got in the mail yesterday.

One more...last one...I just took of Hicks standing next to my monitor. In the light of the monitor...just for fun!

WOW!!:eek Now I really can't wait for mine to come.

Does it make other figures look subpar? Well, not many can compare to Les's handiwork. So for the most part...yeah. But my Hicks will be close to my Hudson who has a custom head made by Les. So they'll be close in quality. Even though my painting skills are no where near Les's, and I painted the Hudson head from him last year.

Yeah, the head does look real. I'm not kidding. I expect Michael Biehn to start talking to me at any moment....!

This custom head sculpt is becoming like the HT Hicks figure itself and the HT Predator 2 elder: The Holy Grail - the one everyone wants but only the lucky few can have...(well they can have it but just have to get in line).

Well, fortunately for those of us who'll have one, Les' customized Hicks sculpt is the best representation of the character. The stock Heads from Hot Toys that look like Hicks all have slicked back hair, which is good if you want to helmet your figure, but if you want the helmet off like he looks in the cooler action scenes of ALIENS, then he looks goofy without the spike, so it's no wonder there's demand for Les' work, if you truly love the Hicks character, it's hard to feel your figure's complete until it truly looks like him.

Agreed 100% in fact i'd even say the entire Aliens line from Hot Toys was a joke (sculpt wise) Some of HT's worst work. I do believe each marine was about $85 each so I suppose that helped too.

Note: Due to the immense amount of both work, and Ma related issues this coming week, I am gonna stay away from the computer except to email those I am mailing out to this week. So, don't fret if you don't see posts or get calls from me for a while. I will get back to those wanting newly solicited Hicks heads, later, when I can and such (THANKS FOR THAT! Really. Thanks. Hope I can do more later!), but right now, all my energies are focused on both work at hand, all heads and figures, and family issues, which I have pretty well laid out. No secrets there...

So, keep on rockin' guys, and thanks those that enjoy my works. Special thanks to Jedi Mike for making me smile this week with your total love for the Hicks head (Cool armor work there too, buddy! Looks good!). You really filled my heart with your kind words. THanks to all you others too of course! I just know Mike, the man has a lot of heart, and his enthused words fueled me in many ways. Appreciated my friend.

Hope the Oscars are fun. I will most likely have my back to them tonight, as I paint, but I will stop for the Best Supporting Actor award time...I have great expectations there...otherwise! CHEERS all!
