Les' ^^^^^ is hot! Whatever you are waiting for from him will BIG TIME!

I will make a suggestion to you Les and other sculptors/ painters, your passion should never become a chore to you. I think limiting the "batch" of heads you agree to paint for guys could help in quelling the anxiety that some feel. It also helps to reduce your workload a bit.

This could go along way in reducing fatigue and burn out.

Sitting in the "year and a half for a head camp" I can sympathise with those who are frustrated - but Les has had a lot of problems, and while he doesn't class himself as one it's pretty much the same with any business; when they hit problems, your order gets bumped. The money 'tied up without result' in the commissions I'm awaiting from Les and "Dark Artist" Josh is microscopic compared to what's gone awry with the investments I hold with highly reputable, well-established groups. Stuff happens in life, and their (Les * Josh's) explanations are a lot better.

One suggestion, though, Les; set a working order. Unfortunately it sounds like your current approach panders to those who make the most noise and complain. Give yourself - and us - a planned running order, and stick to it. Post it here and update when something goes out, then perhaps some of that negativity will go away.

Les, we are here for you.

THough some may get upset, and it will happen. We are still here for you.

I know you are going through some trying times and there never seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel but there is.

I have seen this hobby overcome good people, like our friend DarkArtist and this is the outcome. You guys try to share your passion and love of the hobby with us, not to mention your talent and hard work, and in doing so, become overwhelmed.

I personally appreciate it. and yes I know we wait, but we will be gaining a piece of history ! One of a kind pieces !

What if you get sick yourself... pushing yourself as you do. What then ?

I appreciate you, your work and what you do for our hobby.

Heck seeing what you and Josh had done with these figures is what made me want to foray into 1/6th pieces. You opened a whole new world for me.

And for that, I am all in and love it !

As long as I get my Joker head when he does it I'm not complaining. I'll wait the wait. Les is a great guy and I'll admit the wait sucks but he has integrity and is an upstanding guy. So we all just need to be a bit more patient and just know that of the scams that have gone down Les isn't one of them. He might be late on delivering but he'll get them delivered.

Thanks so much guys. I mean it. I did indeed take a few days, and went down to Dark Artist Josh's Halloween party, where I had a lot of fun. Just the drive down Saturday, where I got away from my home, and computer, and phone, etc., was so worth it. I even went to a Toys R Us on the way down, (Nothing I wanted in there! LOL! But it was fun to go to one again, first one in a year!) and I had a great time when I arrived.

Josh met me at the door, with a fellow artist man hug, and I went inside, as a Georgia Bulldog fan (we proceeded to get the crap beat out of us!) and met a lot more Gator fans, his friends and family, and just had a great time. Laughs, beer, laughs, makeup, Halloween, then...drumroll...FREAKS!!!

Met GALACTIBOY! and his lady! They were Star Trek Redshirts and they rocked! Great to meet you at long last GB!!! And met SLADESUPERAGENT! and his lady too! He won the costume contest as none other than Magnum PI! LOL!!! He was a great one to meet also! Then...as if that was not enough (the most Freaks I have met already so far...) I meet Bamboota! And she rocked! And then...
BIG drumroll...
P!TU himself!!! Vid camera in hand! He must have taped Josh's entire house! So, look for vids of all this mayhem soon if it's not up somewhere already. He and Bamboota were Foot Soldiers, and the costumes rocked! Pitu's lady was a wicked 80's rocker chick! Rocked meeting her too.

So I had a TON of fun. Food was great! (thanks Therese!) and the friends and all, were fun. Oh, I dressed as the Crow! Sorry, no pics at present! I think I was too fat and scary for a "sexy" Crow! LOL!

Anyway, thanks Josh for the great time, and even though the drive was LONG, both there and back (I am STILL tired from getting back late yesterday) I am so glad I got away.

So, with that, I will take all the ideas posted under advisement, and see if I can't finish off some things I promised this week, and ship those out, I'll do my best to post those when I do, THEN...I will do that list, and do them all IN THAT ORDER, and post that stuff, as suggested. I promise!

With Thanksgiving coming this month, and MY ENTIRE FAMILY, spread all over the country, coming down here, HERE, to celebrate that holiday with us at the house, so Ma can be here for it all, I have much more to do than just paint. I have to clean this whole house, ALONE, top to bottom and get it ready for that also. BUT...I will use this to reorganize everything, and get it all in a DO OR DIE (no pun intended) work order, and DO IT!

And maybe have that party after I am done. It might be just what I need. After Josh's fun one this weekend. I think I want to meet a LOT more of you guys! That made my month! Maybe my year.

So, back to work, and with a more certain heart, (again, no pun intended) so I can FINISH. Thanks everyone. You all rock. Seriously. Now that I KNOW a few more of you personally, I can attest to this.

Don't know about that! But thanks. I think I look more like a demented and possessed wrestler than a Crow guy, but it was fun. Except for the hair. NO MORE WIGS! Josh rocked though, that Michael Myers was TOO COOL! Hope the scary shots of him are posted somewhere. He looked REAL!

Anyway Les I put them up there next to HB and Abe and Co. and Ive only just got round to taking some pics (even if it is with a ^^^^ty iphone)

Heres the cats that I couldnt get only due to Les's good and generous nature. He kindly took receipt of them and forwarded them onto me as the supplier wouldnt deliver internationally.

Hey I know! WAY too many of you have headless guys thanks to me! BUT....

That is about to be changing fast! Getting a lot done. Feeling better and actually doing some decent work again. FEELS good anyway. Finding that old inner momentum again. Thanks in part to the understanding and sense of room to work you guys have imparted on me of late. Thanks guys. It's been a long road to finding my old self and your patience has gone a long way to me doing just that.

Got some shipping to do soon, selling some stuff on the Bay to make more to ship. Anyone want a Vasquez? Anyway, lots going soon. I am moving away from so many figures in my own collection, narrowing down to just what I want now, and losing the rest. Just don't need so many. But, I am still here, painting and making figs. TRYING to get the sets done too.

I'm trying also to make a new list, in order, of what I hope to finish, and when. It's hard to do when I just learned not a week back that we are hosting the entire family, Ma included, for Thanksgiving here, week after next!!!...in this filthy house, so that will slow me in the coming weeks, but, with an actual hurricane (Ida) coming up our way, or so they say, short any power outages, I plan to stay inside and PAINT and prep a lot of stuff. Wed is also a national holiday, so no mail anyway, but after that, lots to send off.

Not a left brained organizer by trade, so bear with me. Trying to see how I am gonna do this, what goes first, etc., can't do it all in order of arrival, but I will be sending out stuff in the order it's done, and a lot is getting done, so that is making me feel better at last. Hope it makes a lot of you so too. Might even have room on my desk for the first time in two years!
But, heads are coming, Morbach! Heads are gonna roll! Out my door!

Just wanted to let you all know, STUFF IS COMING! Jokers, Bales, Indys, statues, Supermen, some anyway, (Hang on JediMike!) and much more. FINALLY! Man, I think I will plan that party for the first of the year. Dec 29th is the 5th anniversary of my website and name, Les Walker Figure Master, (just been five years...that's all...) and I will either be shutting down or simplifying, the site, or just celebrating being caught up and finished at long last. We'll see. Either way, STUFF IS COMING! And it feels great!

Back to the bench to paint and list more on Ebay. Here too if I can figure out the new system...

So stoked you're back on track Les. Best of luck bro...but most importantly...HAVE FUN!!! This hobby is an art, and this art a hobby...it should NEVER feel like work IMO.
