Ahhh... NAS Oceana... That was my first base, too. I was with VF-101 (the Grim Reapers) there for a few months, training on the Tomcats. Loved that place, I have so many memories from those early days. Every time I smell jet exhaust it takes me back...

This is fun!
Here I am on the set of Prison Break.
(I'm the guy with the dark hair, pink shirt and beard,
behind the bald guy.) The picture looks bad
because I took a photo of the TV screen.

HAHAHA!
That's kind of a long story:

You don't get a lot of say in what the
costumers give you to wear. That day,
they gave me a horrible shirt, a pair of
scrubs that barely came down to my
knees and (no joke) slippers!

(I couldn't make this up, people.)

Anyway, after you change, you have to
get your outfit approved by another lady.
She saw me and said, "Noooooooo..."
followed by, "Who told you to wear that?"
I told her the costume lady and I was
promptly asked what clothes I had brought
and, after showing her a few outfits, she
told me to wear that pinkish shirt and jeans.
Talk about a close call.
