Trolling or joking around side, this doll DID trigger a bad respiratory allergy. I don't give a crap whether you believe me or not. Put your feeling for this doll aside. The problem is the foam body, is made of polyfoam which is KNOWN to off gas chemical odors. If you go to amazon and search memory foam mattresses, you will see lots of reviews of people complaining of this smell and not being tolerable

Of course, some idiot will say, ah i have no problems, I don't care and it doesn't make my experience any less valid. You're biased because you love this doll and don't want anything negative surrounding it, same reason why all those people at chucky nation got all triggered

im not blaming tots or anybody, just shared my true story with proof and they all got upset because they dont want anything negative around their beloved good guy

I really wanted to keep the doll, I even said here that I did like the way it looks in person and everything, but im not going to suffer and be miserable just for it

I will not give up on good guys and more than likely buy one from sws studios which is made of cloth, stuffing inside and vinyl head. No foam body.

This foam wasn't even the size of a mattress and i had it inside the ikea detolf, and even then it saturated my whole room and the smell didn't go away despite having windows open, fans running im not going to wait 3 months or whatever and suffer. Many claim the smell never really goes away, it just decreases with time. No thanks.

And then you had people on that group saying, is not mattress, is a doll, you didn't buy a mattress, bunch of fools don't realize memory foam mattresses and this doll are made of exactly THE SAME material, polyfoam

Got my processing email from BBTS. Chucky should be on his way any day now!!! I’m going to be torn if I should open him or wait til I have my man cave set up as I don’t currently have a place to display him. Uggggggg

A little something I done the other week was cut through the foam so the legs could bend easier without making them look short, the foam on mine had started to tear between the body and the legs from trying to force him into a better seated position so it made sense to cut round it myself and give it a clean edge.

I might do this with the arms too so they’ll have a better range in motion and hopefully also have the body covered with a nude spandex/Lycra material like the stunt dolls used in CP1

except the original ones were made of cloth and stuffing as you can see in that photo, why did tots and zima go with foam? more profit, that polyfoam is cheap as dirt but it off gasses chemicals, even that guy in the pic is working on resin hands, WHICH IS ALSO KNOWN TO OFF GASS, and he is wearing a mask and a fan next to him for the fumes

that's the reason why the original good guy at planet hollywood went from from white to brown

that's what will happen to your resin doll in 10-20 years
