I would have preferred it if they had shipped the doll with absolutely no box and then sold the legit box separately. No-one needs to have one undersized one and one accurate one.

I have a very hard time understand and comprehending why they shipped the wrong boxes with everyone's dolls. I hear what they are saying about protecting the doll and that was their #1 concern, but it's BS all of it...the cabinet minister...the whole business.
The only sensible reason to ship an inaccurate box is to sell an accurate box for more money...because people pay for accuracy. It's just another goofy maneuver by this company. They tell us one thing but anyone with 1/2 a brain can connect the dots. same thing with the KS campaign. They wanted/need the crowd funding to help pay the bill of this project but they never came out and said it. They tried to spin and sell it in a way that alluded to the fact they needed our help. Then the goofy stretch goals...people freaking about it certain items not being unlocked when they were going to ALL be unlocked and manufactured regardless if they "hit" the goals. It's goof troop over at TOTS.

No way the future releases come with the movie accurate box. The worst part is that they had the BALLZ to number the inaccurate movie boxes, lol

Great point. So now to have an accurate box, you have to have one without a number on it (and I guess sticker too?). Ugh. This company.

nah, the joke is on us if we RUSH to get the box at full price. This basically tells them you are OK with them doing this. I'm not going to be a hypocrite and say I will NEVER get that accurate box, but I'm in no hurry. I honestly doubt they will sell out. I'll wait for a coupon or something.
Well messed up box or not, I just got my ship notice from Big Bad Toy Store! Shipping usually takes FOREVER, so we will see once the tracking processes how long it will be.
