Thank you for the pics Dinokiwi!

It's great to see details of such a gorgeous piece. I wish I could afford one :(

Well if you can afford all those Dinosauria pieces, I think you can easily afford one of Galileo… :)
I don't have any Dinosauria statue, one because I don't have the money, and two I don't know where to get them… I've never seen one in person :(

Try Dansdinosaurs.com or failing that Sideshow directly. ;)

Galileo was orig planning to work on the Sideshow line so comparing his work to the Dinosauria pieces is easily a fair thing. ;D

I posted this piece on DA and Facebook..prob more later. I knew there were a LOT of Stegosaurus fans here though.. ;) This is a piece I think I finished last year. I never really had a way to get my drawings up before but with a new digital camera some of them are turning out ok.

Here's my description from DA :

A lone Stegosaurus has shown a Ceratosaurus just why you don't mess with them. Unfortunately for both they fighting on a very unstable cliff side..when the dust settles the Stegosaurus is exhausted and finds itself on a very small ledge...with it's tail still impaling the twitching Ceratosaurus and it's slowly falling to the edge...judging by the Pterosaurs below..they are quite a ways up from anything close to the ground.

Just listed my Shane Foulkes Carnotaurus in the for sale/trade tread. Let me know if you think it us priced appropriately or if you think I would be better off taking it to eBay.

I would say at this time you could almost def sell it for 50.00, for 100.00 it might sell, at 150 maybe...200.00.. it's not very likely. There are some people who really look for these kits but they are few and far between. Most people just don't want to build one really. I would start it on eBay for 50.00 and put a reserve and see how high it goes.

My first Dino-related haul of 2011 ! Thanks to Dan at Dansdinosaurs.com ;D

That about sums up my track record for Collectibles :)
Paid 150 plus shipping and I will be lucky to get half that. Thank you for the advice btw. It is always appreciated. Will take it over to the bay and try and break even later in the month once they waive listing fees

It's a sorry state of affairs but it's usually how it turns out. Maybe 1 out of 10 or 20 items you collect increase in value..maybe 1 out of a 100 double or triple..it's mostly luck. I buy what I like..sometimes I get lucky and increases other times not. Good luck !

Dang man you blew my joke..I was hoping to get at least one person thinking it was a new Dinosauria piece... lol ;D

Oh well, you are right..I would love it as a SS maquette..or even a kit from David himself. I really hope he gets a new piece in the line soon.

A new piece from David would be nice, but I'd rather see a revised Rex Mundi kit. ;) Maybe increase the scale to 1/15. :D

He mentioned having a go at it at some point...but he's mini-obsessed right now it seems. Just keep mentioning it..that's what I do with the Einiosaurus...though maybe he wants cash upfront for that one. You could offer to pre-order a redo of Rex Mundi from him..perhaps that would stimulate some movement. :?

Maybe I will ask him. I'd really love to own that piece, and have it displayed next to my Sideshow Rex. ;)

I also would love to own his Einiosaurus maquette. I think that the pose on that statue, is what some wanted for the SS Styracosaurus. I agree it would have made the statue more dynamic. :D
