For all you Lim Toys Gunslinger people out there, to quell your thirst while you wait for the next figure I recommend a prescription to view Yellowstone 1883 a great tonic and cracking drama.

Yellowstone 1883 is either viewed stand alone or as a prequel to the Yellowstone series, either way gritty western drama up there with Deadwood and Godless.

Hell on Wheels has been my favourite western in modern times. By modern times I mean post 1970s, as I regard the '60s and '70s as the golden age for western films.

Apt for the 'female character' of this thread a new western series just aired in full: The English.

Cinematically it's quite stunning, like a blend of John Ford and Sergio Leone. At times the music recalls Ennio Morricone.

I'm only on the first episode but so far it's the kind of series or film that inspires me to buy 1/6 western figures!

Yes Hell on Wheels great gritty western Anson Mount should do more westerns. I have just viewed the first episode of English, so far so good.

I’m not on Facebook, but I’m in for Dutch (and Sadie).

And I thought I was the only one not on Facebook. Dutch, Dutch and Dutch, did I mention Dutch for me and the growing Posse. Future characters that may come to fusion I shall seriously consider.

Not on Facebook? 😲

How will strangers ever know what you're having for lunch? :panic:

(It's a useful place to lurk on for news. My account is an alias with nothing personal in it).

Yes I can see the advantages. I was brought up to understand careless talk costs lives. Too many are too free with their information. My daughter told me I should enrol on social media I said " I do not have any friends and noone would be remotely interested about me" This platform is where I dwell for now. Have I mentioned I like bullets?
