Someone actually made corpse Joel but I found it very disturbing… not my type of figure lol. Trigger warning, I included some pics.

O and the company that is doing a small run of Abby figures is called Artisus. They made a prototype with a rooted braid. They have no idea what body they’re gonna use, but to cut costs it won’t be fully seamless. The biggest issue with Abby is the body and I think the JIAOU body I used works perfectly. Not sure what alternative they would be able to come up with. Never heard of this company or seen their work but I’m eager to see what the final product will look like.

That Abby actually looks pretty decent though. Might be half tempted to pick one up if they don't make her too expensive.

Lots of people find some level of amusement in making, you know, golf-related comments and junk, and there's plenty of dedicated Abby lovers out there who feel like they can align with her choices, just as a lot of us align with Joel's and Ellie's. I think the person who made that Joel or if they made it for someone, that person, is probably somewhere in there. Zero judgment from me, though. Even I, Joel stan that I am, tend to find some of the jokes (in moderation) kinda funny.

I really don't have all that much money atm but I'd love to buy some customs that look like these Abbys do. And I am very much enjoying this cool, crafty hijacking, but I of course hope we get to see some more updates with the new Joel and Ellie figures soon!

People take their opinions way too far with this franchise.

The first game is an all time classic so of course everything that comes after is subject to very heavy scrutiny, just like Star Wars and Indiana Jones and whatever else you want to throw out there. It just comes with the territory for a hit that gets that kind of massive. But Part II, while divisive, does not deserve the hate it gets. It's an incredible achievement in both gameplay and storytelling, and everything that went into it shouldn't be disregarded because of a few story decision.

And the show - while far from perfect, is still the best video game adaptation of all time, with very good sets and very good performances. Plenty of issues, but none that should have driven that thread to get out of control.

Anyway, people better not come in here and start another war, we've had enough of them in this thread already. Let's just look forward to the figures.

I wouldn't say no to a golfing Joel figure if I'm being honest, the morbid side of me would actually dig it kinda like the old Mcfarlane Negan and Glenn double pack, gnarly but cool stuff.

I thought it was a pretty tame debate aswell. I saw no anger or harsh words thrown. Think it was locked cause some people didn’t like part 2 . So what. If they didn’t like it and debated on why they didn’t like it and weren’t a holes about it then big deal. Think that’s silly to lock a thread just cause a few peeps had a discussion on Joel’s actions and part 2. How can you not talk about the series ending without bringing up these points? I’m sorry but locking the thread cause people disagree with your viewpoint is kinda silly. Did the debate reach TLJ territory bad lol

Locked not only because it had devolved into a hate platform for TLOU2 and Neil Druckmann, but because it was also into spoiler territory for the second season of the HBO series, and many of the people who watched the first season haven't played the games.

I had a very dramatic reaction when I played Part 2 but at this point I don't care now. Part 2 isn't canon for me and whenever I want to play Last of US I play Part 1. While part 2 introduces lot of characters, I love the isolation and solitude in the first game. As a game Part 2 is a very good game imo but the story wasn't greatest,it feels just wrong at least for me. I care about these characters too much. I have a feel they'll split it into 2 seasons, second season gonna end with a golf match, and in the third season there gonna be Ellie's story. I noticed that they changed Joel's personality and some scenes in the show to justify the upcoming events. "Ummm he wasn't a good guy at all"

They did not show it yet. Just announced they will make it after the two statues from part 2. Price wise, they are more like 1200-1400us + About 400us shipping for a video game 1/4 nowadays.
