Wonder if a second run can happen and we can just put a preorder though I think the price will still be the same as today which will suck in general. I wonder what that means for InArt figures.

Well hopefully that means he dropped the price down a bit from $288 hoping he gets more stock soon.

I don't think the 10% was included in that price as it shows as $288 for me too.

But what has changed is that he's no longer $358 when logged out, though that might be because he's not in stock.

Damn. I got confused on that. So 10% is still going to be levied but not anything additional because of the de minimis? So essentially, USA buyers were going to get hit higher than 10%?
Everything from China / Hong Kong with 10% Tariff

de minimis cancellation on hold temporary - This is the Key as we ship from China directly

Without de minimis, all courier immediately increase handling cost, 100% maybe? and then you prepay maybe 30-50% tax base on the declaration

Also with formal custom clearance it also might cause long delays

Just to clarify some things upon reading more on this.

Not all toys have predetermined tariffs for the US. These are just examples of a portion that may apply here. Toys that have human likeness (Hello 1/6 scale and action figures! Lol!) are subject to 4.7% tariffs. Robots and cars don't have any. Because of the de minimis exemption or having stuff declared undervalued (value below $800), most of our stuff never got hit with 4.7% tariffs. BUT once the de minimis exemption for China is removed, it will be 4.7% plus 10% for anything resembling a human being. Others just get the 10%.

These dolls were subject to their own classification under the HTS 9502 heading, which covered 'Dolls representing only human beings.'

However, 9502 (and 9501, tricycles and scooters) were folded into subheading 9503 at some point. I can't figure out when exactly, all I know is the current 2025 Tariff schedule Chapter 95 now begins at 9503. They have also removed several sub-classifications of 9503 to more broadly cover the general category of "toy" under 9503.00. (For example, to name just a couple, 9503.41, stuffed animals, and 9503.49, non-stuffed toys representing animals, are also now removed and rolled back under 9503.00).

9503.00, currently, has a 0% duty fee from any column 1 country (which is every country aside from Belarus, Cuba, North Korea and Russia).

Take this with a grain of salt because I'm just Some Guy and before yesterday the most I knew about toy tariffs was that 90s court case where Marvel argued X-Men weren't human so they could be imported cheaper, but the tariff schedule is available online for anyone to view: https://hts.usitc.gov/

I believe at present we are only to be subjected to the 10% tariff, (plus any brokerage fees if shipped through private couriers :cautious:) presuming this morning's pausing of the De Minimis repeal doesn't last.

Probably the wrong thread for this but it's relevant everywhere now

So... what you're saying is that the 10% tariff is the duty that currently trumps all other duties.

Though this information was yesterday, and today's another day, so it may already have changed. :lol

Things can change so fast that orders haven't even been fully implemented before a new order overturns them.

Consider what Kit's had to go through over the past few days trying to sort this out, only to put things back as they were before eventually doing it all again.

It's a rollercoaster ride, while most people would probably just prefer to be on that little train that takes you on gentle a circuit of the park. :lol

R_R_X will we have more figures of uncharted for preorder at the original price?
Sorry to be a dick but I would like to help RRX answer this question

RRX and Limtoys do not determine the “original price”

Even Limtoys can keep the original cost for stores, we as retailer will adjust the price base on currency rate, tariff and risks etc

The figure is open for preorder almost 2 years, if you missed the boat for whatever reason, no one can guarantee you the original price for a possible 2nd batch

I didnt make any announcement on social media when I put back a few units for sale, to be honest, I wanted to low the price a bit but forget to do so (with the nightmare last 2 days I don’t even know what I am doing)

But in a few minutes order incoming, so the demand is there, right? I always try to be reasonable but with so many uncertainty I really don’t hesitate to charge more right now (please correct me if you can find anyone with cheaper price)

The winter is coming, I need to save to survive it

I think that's a fair comment Kit, you do a great job with the information you have to hand, what else can one do. This whole situation has everyone confused, retailers, customers, customs, even the US President! Hopefully in a week or two we'll all have a little more clarity.

The original $238 price this guy was going for not including shipping or whatever was a downright steal. Even that $288 price and the tariff increase I saw on kits site still ain't that bad but $399!! I don't think so. Hopefully kit will get more. I'm pissed at myself for not checking earlier
I got lucky and snagged him for $258 after invoices were sent out (I didn’t preorder him) 🙏

Nothing I can say that hasn't been said. Easy figure of the year contender. From mailbox to shelf, it's been an authentic Uncharted experience. Big probs to Limtoys. @R_R_X, you and your team have done an outstanding job.
