Deadpool looks great. But the detail in the chain work and guns on this is the ****! The face too. I deal like dead pools mask kind of holds it back since it's plain.

Lobo looks damn awesome, but the original comment was that Deadpool isn't in the same calibre...if that's the case, about 98% of the pieces SS produces aren't either, imo.

Deadpool and Punisher. Two dudes with lots attitude, guns, weapons and ready to kick your teeth in. They are the first 2 recent statues that came to mind when I saw this video today. Even ignoring the size of Lobo compared to those two, I feel that there is just more care in producing a low key character like Lobo (or most DC pieces for that matter) when compared to most Marvel pieces.
The intricate base, the detailing, cloth, etc. makes Lobo a very definitive sculpt for this character to me. Deadpool and Punisher have the same standing straight up non-Captain Morgan pose and I can't say that I feel them as iconic as Lobo. There is less "wow" factor and I can definitely and easily see superior versions of both characters made in the probably and unfortunately distant future.

Assuming this turns out, it probably will be better than Deadpool...not miles better, but better.

Exactly what I meant. Now as statues seem to continually get better and better, due to deadpool being more of a fan favorite, I think he will be more desired/loved.

I don't know Lobo very well. What about his "standing there" pose makes it definitive for the character?
I'm not trying to be an a-hole here...I'm really asking. Most PF's are in a pretty plain pose...so why is this one special? I'm actually looking to be convinced to order...looks cool, but don't know enough about the guy...

What a great statue--Sideshow is just killing the DC characters. Probably not going to get this one though. Space and money are going against me at the moment, but I'm glad they are keeping the quality way up.

I wish Sideshow put as much effort into the Daredevil PF as they did with Lobo.
they should have but i m actually happy with how Daredevil sculpts came i didnt liked it n its easy pass. its better when so many wanted statues coming at a time n some of them u didnt like just like daredevil which i wanted but didnt liked sculpt so that money goes to another statue
