Lobo is an individual character and not linked to any particular hero as such. His lack of connection to any one main character 'family' makes him a very loose cannon that can pop up in several mainstay comics along with one-shots in his hey day. His appearance in the 'Hitman' saga is brilliant, but it is in his own 'mature readers only' mini series that he shines!

Hulk just has way less chance for the detail. Hulk is a big green man in shorts. Lobo is a guy in a denim jacket, scars everywhere, crazy facial features, guns, chains, etc.
But I definitely agree with you, this will be 599.99
Price is not dictated by detail...it is dictated by popularity first and foremost. Hulk is FAR BETTER KNOWN than Lobo. I can't see Lobo being more expensive than Hulk. Of course, SSC has surprised me countless times in the past. Also, given Apoc is $600, I suppose this could be as well. If you were going by detail, Lobo should be even more expensive than Apoc.

On the other forum, Igo has said this "won't be cheap". I don't know what their definition of cheap is, but I'm expecting this to be well north of $500. I'd love to be wrong, though

Haha I was not trying to be negative toward the hulk, that green monster is awesome. My point is if they can charge $550 for that green man in a short, I would imagine they will charge more for lobo given he has much more details and the dog. If the dog comes separately, that puppy probably would cost $100 or more, which bring the total cost of at least $700.

well, for the most part, I think my theory is sound. Popularity is more a driving factor over details of a statue. Of course, there are many factors overall. I think Hulk getting 3 different versions also made SSC do a lower price so that people aren't too overwhelmed should they want all 3. Apoc will also prob have a total lower ES then Hulk. But given the price on DC, this could be $600 and just have a lower ES.

Every reason to be more than $400 imo.

500-600 max..it doesn't deserve to cost more than apoc and G. Hulk, and those are the big, massive pieces…and lobo is a very niche character lets be honest.

Are you high? It's the same size as apocalypse. Same stance. More detail... I think character popularity has nothing to do with price. IE, Thor being more expensive than the other marvel A listers. And the dc a listers were all the same.
There is NO way this is 399.99.
My guess is at least $600

This one is a tough sell. Only way I'd buy this is if the Edition Size is below 300. Was never a big Lobo Fan, he got annoying at times. Not blown away by the PF either. I actually like the DC statue better. Would rather see a more darker tone and longer hair.

Funny how being familiar with characters mostly comes into play when it's a male character.
