Just a plastic rod and a lighter. Melt the tip and then press it against a flat surface for the mushroom effect. Clip off your desired slug and then repeat and paint.

Cool. I thought about doing just that but thought I would ask.

finished up Supes, everything is taking a bit longer as ive been having problems with headaches and my eyes

Sorry to hear about your headaches Doing this sort of work must only make it worse I'm guessing, as it's so intensive.

Thanks guys, Havent had my eyes checked in many years so could probably do with getting em checked out, i suffer really bad migraines, i can go months without one then i can have 2 or 3 a week for a while, feeling better today though so hopefully they have passed

Those sculpts look great. Really digging the changes on Supes but I think his looks still are less boyish than Millers depiction. I think it's the hard lines in his cheeks. Maybe the camera is making them look deeper than they are.

What do you guys think? Maybe I'm just hanging onto one look in the book.

yeah i know what you mean Lee, without the lines distinguishing the cheek though he just looks like kinda deformed like the DCD one, it doesent help that Millers pics of him are quite sketchy and the angles and shapes are different in more or less every pic. But doesent look like there is much interest in this so i can only assume people arent liking him

Yeah, I can see what you're saying. It probably would look cartoony. Miller didn't give you much to work with. But if there is a lack of interest, I'm sure it because of the character, not your work on it.
