not at all… i just don't understand how someone can arrive at opinions such as yours based only on the intent of the movement. forget the media and the sensationalizing of the occupy event… they want to sell you a story… google the source. research the intent, not the result. there are always going to be bad seeds… anarchists… opportunists… separate them from the true intent of the protest… Wall Street controls and dominates the political system through corporations that put profits first, outsourced US jobs to China, India and commenced the decline in manufacturing for the past decade within the US. 24 million Americans people are out of a job and what is left for them to do? Wall Street created a system of inequality and the maintain and enforce it.

Exactly, this all came about after Obama's "everyone should pay their own fair share" speech. Coincidental...I think not. Also, what most TV news stations won't tell you is that most wealthy ARE paying their fair share. I've seen enough tax returns of wealthy folks to see the huge amounts of taxes they pay. As if anyone bothered to pick up a tax book or go to the IRS website, you can see how taxation is based on what you make. Not every wealthy individual is a Warren Buffet with an army of accountants to find EVERY loophole to hide their money and lower their taxes.

It's a political trick for the uninformed and when they hear it enough they believe it no matter what they have seen in the past on their paystubs when working in different income brackets. You're right, it's pretty simple as the tax code dictates a percentage and basic math tells you that someone making 500,000 is paying a lot more than someone making 250,000 and they are paying a lot more than someone making 100,000 and they are paying a lot more than someone making 50,000, etc. It's smoke and mirrors and just because some wealthy cheat the tax system doesn't mean the majority aren't paying their fair share. And what about the folks NOT paying ANY taxes? I guess they aren't paying their fair share either.

Wall St. doesn't control ____. If you make money in this country---or any country on this planet---there are men with guns who control you. The one thing all of these protests have in common is that the rich have too much control over their own money, and that means only one thing: that the men with the guns should have full control over them. What the 'democracy' mongers either do not realize or do not care about (or in some cases, openly advocate) is that control over the 1% is control over the 100%. Totalitarian makes no exceptions, and totalitarian is what Occupy Wall St. wants.

OCCUPY Wall Street protesters are flocking to nearby health clinics for sexually-transmitted disease (STD) and HIV testing after getting their freak on in '60s-style hookups with crusty strangers, sources said.
"Last week was free love," a medical professional at a nearby clinic said, referring to the number of people who organisers referred for STD testing

A volunteer at Zuccotti Park admitted concern among protesters about STDs. "We give directions to clinics if people ask for information regarding STDs," the volunteer, who identified himself only as "Captain," said, adding that pregnancy tests are also a hot item.

"Like anything else, it happens. People ask, and we do the best we can for them," he added.

Volunteers at the medical tent hand out cash, usually $15 or $20, so the randy radicals can visit clinics that cater to a low-income clientele, the source said.

Experts said it is the right thing to do. "My advice for the protesters would be to practice safer sex," according to Lisa Oldson, medical director of Chicago-based Analyte Health. "It's a lot cheaper to buy a condom than get treated for an STD."
