Wouldn't happen to me either and I got over 1000 posts. I think the amount of posts really gots very little to do with it.

i've owned a couple avp preds before. $200 for them is a damn rip-off. get the newer ones.

I don't agree but what he means is, the are harder to put together, less articulated and you feel more hesitant when posing them because they are worth more and harder to get

i have payed $460 for ancient asia at one time thats how much i wanted it , but i had to go to a wedding in a other town and was not able to get it .

all that stuff plus the sculpts are lousy, the proportions are all wrong and the bendy dreads look cheap and ridiculous.
the newer predator figures are a totally different level of quality and actually worth the $$. the avp preds just look like toys.

it's your money, but look at it this way... you could pay $100 for a happy meal, or $100 for a nice steak dinner.

I agree. Once you compare the dreads from Predator 2, Predator 1, you will see the difference when you look back at your AVP Elders dreads. You should focus on Predator 2, Predator 2 Elder, Wolf Regular and soon hard to ge, Predator 1. You might even want to get Predator 1 before Wolf Regular. Get those first then you will find it easier to find Wolf Cleaner and Predator 2 (Lost predator). in my opinion, the Predator 2 Elder is the grail of the bunch sobe prepared to pay over 5 bills for him

well i got the ex predator 1 when it came out ,wolf was my first, avp elder ,then lost pred, the dreads do look better but something about the avp predators i just like.

elder predator 2 is the holy grail but not for $500 i found one for $385 on ebay and free shipping pretty good price

There's a guy on the For Sale thread that was selling the Hot Toys alien eggs for 19 eac or something like that.. at the time, he had like 10 or so.. let me see if i can find the link for you..

because collectors/completists have more money than sense.
especially the ones who don't have that much money.
and there will always be scalpers who prey on them.
