So what's the deal with this bust? Does he appear like this in the movie?

I havnt seen it in atleast 15 years and the only thing i can remember from the movie is the nasty witch in the swamp.

I really liked it, but with issues people have had with paint pealing on the regular edition, I just decided not to take the chance. With international shipping, and the fact that it would be near impossible for me to replace once sold out, I just couldn't risk it right now.

Yeah, I had to send my Darkness bust back because of pealing paint.

Hopefully that problem wont happen with this one.

Had to send mine back as well. I know I'll regret not getting this, but the paint issue was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this piece. I'll pass.

I dont think there should be any issues with this, I would think Sideshow had plenty of time to fix the issue the regular Darkness bust had.

Hey King, you should display him with a black light (strip light to be exact) so he looks like his movie counterpart. This is an awesome piece.

... i dunno mesa. looks more like he's just cast in shadows instead of being actually black ... which is why i faltered on the order of this one = SSC alt versions = easy cash for them (same with elektra white = no thanks). i have 2 of the red lord's already but felt this was a long shot for a quality piece. red looks better imo as there's not enough contrast in the features and sculpt in the black; you'll need really good lighting to display this one. anyways, waited till they sold out then got on the wait to see how things go in the market place ...

I had to pass, still got the Original bust, and never got into the LSB line, but its still looks awesome.
