So far I'm diggin it, I've never actually done much PC Gaming and there is so much more interactivity than, say, any of the xbox LOTR games, so I'm pretty new to this sort of thing.

Are the introductory quests the same for everyone or do they vary based on race? For example, I've started out in Ered Luin, the Blue Mountains. Do elves or Men start out elsewhere?

The humans start in Archet, north of Bree.

I already reached level 15, dang it! Now I can't do any more quests until the game starts for real in a few weeks. (Well, I guess I could, but I wouldn't get any XP.)

Make money?

I made new characters rainor elf guardian and jainor human hunter. both lvl 6

Normally I don't purchase game guides but I've made an exception with this game, especially since I've decided to do the lifetime subscription. It will be a great reference for all the weapon/skill/trait stats, not to mention all the beautiful color pictures.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0761553304/104-3367338-1681543

I preordered it for $13.59 before the price went up but $16.49 is still a good price for a guide this size and the amount of work it takes to put it together.

The guide is coming in at a whopping 528 pages. This thing is going to be a telephone book. To put things in perspective, the WOW guide has about 100 less pages.

The 2nd post in this thread has been updated with a player list.

Raylor doesnt exist anymore i deleted him. and jainor is gone to. it's just rainor and oltar.(hobbit hunter) final.(had to play around with a little bit of stuff before i decided):D

now if the lag would improve.

Patch tomorrow is supposed to fix the memory leak and some vista issues hopefully that helps some of the lag.:chew(and i have vista home basic so all is lookin better...i hope)

There is a minimum of 6 players required to maintain the kinship, otherwise it will be automatically disbanded tomorrow. I've invited some other gaming friends of mine but we still need to invite one more player to get to six.

I don't see why not..Going online as oltar now for a little bit.

If it gets disbanded, can we try again later this month after open beta, when the game goes live for everybody?

Man, I was so looking forward to this, but when it launched, the Europeans couldn't play the free trial. That's sad. On the other hand, if we can't play, we don't risk to get hooked, and probably save a lot of money... :D

I hit level 15 and then I have been so busy I haven't had a chance to play much this week, but hopefully next week I can get back online and make some more money.

I'm almost at 15 and will continue to craft and earn. I'll also be working on what ever quests I can get my hands on but won't complete the quests until the game officially launches so as not to lose the XP.

I'm going to create my alt soon as well. I just got to figure what compliments my primary as far as supplying my primary as well as what will serve the Crack of Doom kinship based on what everyone else is already playing as.

Be careful! As I understand it, any quests that you have accepted but not completed will not carry over into the live game. They don't want people fulfilling the requirements for 40 quests and saving them up until Day One, when they will go around and talk to all of the quest givers to officially finish and collect a ton of XP. I cancelled all of my active quests because I don't want to finish one without getting XP for it.

Ohhhh, I did not know that. Thanks for letting me know. Was that posted on the LOTRO forums? I guess I'll stick to crafting and looting my spoils.

I'm at lvl 13 once i hit 15 i'll just treasure hunt for $$$ till game opens.
