I loved Lost Boys, mainly for the soundtrack and Kiefer's over the top performance, but it's not really a classic. A sequel can't be much worse even with the Cories.

Come on DD, how can you not think of Lost Boys as a "classic" 80's flick? I duno, I am a sucker for 80's stuff I guess.

No way dude, Lost Boys rules! it's not a bad movie. It's classic 80's in an 80's way unlike Monster Squad or Fright Night. Just my opinion of course.

thats awesome!!! and i remember watching the lost boys when i was younger. it was way cooler back then...when i watch it now i just want to uppercut people with the name corey.

Didn't see this posted (sorry if it's in another thread). Trailer for the sequel. Doesn't touch the original (at least not what is shown in the trailer) of course. Looks like the sax player was cut.

I think the late 2000's in (some) movie making may be looked back upon as the 1980's is looked back upon in terms of cheesy music.
