OK - Safari is the browser on my husband's iPad and it sucks b***s. I'm bidding on 476 - Kate's necklace. I'm sure it will go for WELL OVER $3,000; if it's real gold and not plated, it will definitely go for more. Even at my lowly bid of $2250, the tax, fees, & shipping would push the price to about $3,000. I believe the fine print in the auction catalog said you have to pay the sales tax as well as the 20% fee...Good luck to any of you who are bidding.

I don't think you have to pay tax if you aren't in CA.

I must have misunderstood the catalog. I know the website said that only Californians had to pay the tax.
