Well now I find out that they are playing in Albany as well. I went ahead and bought tickets for Albany (which is a lot closer to me) and then found out I can't return tickets purchased from Fandango.

:slap

Annoying. Still, what it would cost in gas to drive. I'm probably still better off.

Excited to see the movies again in the theater.

Cinemark had emailed me saying I could see it in Sandusky, OH and that the tickets went on sale yesterday. Well, nothing about it being carried in Sandusky online and it's not on the list of cities carrying it.

Poop. :(

I just drove by Sandusky last week on my way to MI.

I think next year I will go back so I can bring the kids to Cedar Point and I wanna go to the Rock and Roll Museum.

I got my tickets for Fellowship, but the other two aren't going to be released yet for some reason. :monkey4

Thanks, though I have to go by myself because I can't find anyone who wants to go with me. :(

Got my tickets on Friday for all 3 shows...should be fun...have not been in a theater for 4 hours plus...EVER!

Anyone who has seen the extended editions in the theaters before, do they play them straight through or is there an intermission?

When they did the trilogy tuesday event the FOTR and TTT were EE and they played straight through. There were intermissions between the movies but nor during.

I remember going to Trilogy Tuesday with my wife. It was such a fun experience and a great climax to all of the LOTR excitement leading up to the release of the final film.

Well, not really final after all! I can't believe that we are getting two more.

Yeah, its nice they keep putting them out every so often. I do wish they'd do an EE trilogy event where all three play in a row.

With the length of ROTK, that would make for a really loooong day, plus there's suppose to be a short film from PJ before them, or at least before Fellowship.

I'm trying to think of just where the middle of Fellowship would be in the extended. I'm going to have to pick a pee point. :D
