I too want nice diorama's...like Gollum biting off Frodo's finger...like Aragorn slitting a Berserker's throat....like Saruman kicking Gandalf's butt...and like an Eagle ripping apart a Fell Beast with it's razor-like talons :monkey5 Keep up the great work SS, these dio's have been fantastic so far! :rock

I'll remember never to ask you for a definition of "nice". ;)

:lol While I do admit I thoroughly enjoy the drama generated by the conflict in the vs dio's so far, I can certainly handle some of the kinder, gentler scene's without the blood-letting I'm sure we'll eventually see. :D

Remember I'm an environment collector, first and foremost. ;)

I'll definitely be getting the Eagle vs. Fell Beast diorama, as that's the first one featuring a character not previously made in 3D (that being Gwaihir, although he was done nicely enough in plaque form).

I'm very much a proponent of the IDEA of the LOTR dioramas, but I've been less than enthusiastic about the CHOICES for the first three. Now give me a Treebeard & Ents vs. Isengard, and I'll pay whatever it takes.

My "nice" doesn't equal "quaint", it's more like "yet unreleased"...

...and they don't all have to be vs. pieces, either.

Love the responses so far... still deciding if I should add LSB to my collection or keep the LOTR in 12" and PF (only have GTW so far).

Little bit of everything. I thought I'd stick with PF and full size statues, but it's so hard to avoid such great pieces, whether they be mini-busts, 1/6th scale statues, 1:2 busts, etc. etc.

I agree with the other comment someone made initially. A good collection should be a mix of a lot of things.

This one would be a bit too violent for my liking ;)
