Luke Is Shipping!!!

Am I the only Sideshow Freaks member that didn't learn about Sideshow until three days after the exclusive sold out and only have the regular edition on pre-order? I'm thinking maybe the regulars won't be shipped out until sometime in April.

Don't feel bad. I found out just after the Obi-Wan exclusive sold out . Got the regular version of him, on the wait list for the exclusive but had to resort to eBay to get the regular editions of Luke and Anakin .

I've only got the regular one on order as I was having PC problems when the pre-order started and by the time it was working normally again the exclusive had sold out. I'm happy enough to be getting the regular one though as I'm only missing out on a blaster that I would most likely have left in the box anyway. It's a little frustrating waiting for some news on the EU shipping of the figure,but I'm sure the figure will be well worth the wait. Luke will be my first Sideshow product and it's a long,long time since I've been this excited about receiving a new Star Wars figure.

What about your free figure? Won't you be getting two then?

Yeah, I will but I havn't heard from them what their plans are for shipping (If they will send them out as they come out or will they wait and send them all at once at the end) and I need my SW fix as soon as I can get it. Once they let me know I can go ahead and cancel the rest of my pre-orders.

Regarding the wait listers who got theirs, I'm thinking they just took over the shipping "slot" of whomever cancelled their order.

I think your pretty correct here. A Waitlist that turns into an order is just like anyone elses order that did it first thing. An order is an order. So it's not like they have a list of folks who ordered the first day and those that got converted over from the waitlist. Just a note on mine I put myself on the WL within a couple hours of it selling out. It's not like I joined months afterwards. When the Morgul Lord Statue went up back in 2004 I ordered it as soon as it went up for sale. However, it was into the second week of shipments until I got mine. So they process and ship the orders randomly I believe. It's not really that big of a deal.

I got the regular edition, in fact, I got one of the last ten. My account says its shipping soon. I don't know how soon soon is, but I don't think it means it'll be another week.

Got my Fed Ex ground shipment email and my SS shipment email...Luke will be here(Gallup,NM)Thursday or Friday!!!!!!!!

WOOOO!! Gettin' mine on Saturday. Not too bad when I live way the hell over to the east in Michigan.

Well mine came today but I was not happy with the style of shipping box SS went with and had it shipped back and refunded and cancelled the rest of my preorders.

I returned mine as well...Luke's hands were defective. You could even take them on and off. Poor quality control.
